Well one day maybe lol

For Pete’s sake ,someone please get this goin !! I would think most these actors would be willing to join in .Would need a rep from the Fratelli’s (Panoliano or Davi) ,2-4 Goonies (Feldman ,Astin , Cohen ,Quan ,Brolin, Plimpton ,Green) ,a villain rep (Antin) , a voice actor for Sloth , and if possible Lauper .Lower PF would be a must ,obviously getting there via a fireplace shot , a upper PF for Data’s maze for Chunk at the gate (do the truffle shuffle to get there ) , a pirate ship , Fratelli bash toy ,and a fast moving widebody to get all the rest in .I would be happy with something similar to TBL .Is this too much to ask ?

1. Monster Bash
2. Attack from Mars Re (Special)
3. Mando prem
4. TWD pro
5. GOTG pro

Today it'd be:

BSD
The Shadow
Godzilla
The Big Lebowski
TNA

Hard to choose only 5...

#904 1 year ago

For me it would be:
Iron Maiden Premium (my all time favorite)
Walking Dead Premium
Star Wars Premium
Ghostbusters Premium

There is about a 10 game tie for 5th, but if I had to choose I’d maybe say Godzilla.

#905 1 year ago

Not in particular order: iron maiden, star trek(stern), godzilla, bram stokers dracula (wifes fav), firepower (classic example)

Don’t think I have ever seen Dracula. I’ll have to keep an eye out for that.

I own 4 currently and my wife authorized purchase for 5th. Medieval Madness and Attack from Mars (both original) Star Trek the Next Generation, Mandalorian and I have and order in for a Godzilla. The only one which could be exchanged out is STTNG, but I like it because it is so different from the others.

Having only played two out this list, I might as well add in an unreleased title…
Taxi
Austin Powers
Indiana Jones (Williams)
Tron
Scooby Doo

After attending Yegpin a couple of weeks ago, I’d like to change my list. Tron is out, as I didn’t have an immediate love for it as I thought I would. And while I thoroughly enjoyed Scooby Doo, there’s something about that upper playfield covering a third of the table that doesn’t quite seem right. Saying that however, it doesn’t eliminate SD from my list, but Food Fighters is nipping a Scooby’s heels. To round out the list I’m going to sub in Earthshaker, which was a surprisingly fun. Who knew.

I'm bad at this. I don't bolt. Games I've owned the longest have been Party Zone and Swords of Fury. Stupid. My dream theme is TSPP, sold it after 6 months and don't think about it at all. I swap like a pinball floozy.

Dream lineup currently:
Tales From the Crypt
Riverboat Gambler
Bad Cats
Torpedo Alley
Quicksilver/Fathom

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME.

If I had to bolt:
Banzai Run
BSD
Taxi
Rick & Morty
Medieval Madness?

Most new games play too long. I'm a loser.

I am pretty happy with my current line up of five.

LOL
So 5 years later only White Water still in the collection. I do have a ST prem VE now as well if that counts.
Updated list:
Star Wars prem comic. Best all around pin in my opinion. Speed, rules, integration, sounds, light show and art.
TZ. To me the ultimate 90’s DMD
IJ. Getting into it a lot in recent days. Not sure why now versus the past ,but it’s Indy and great integration
I500. Speed game. Lots of timed shots, great sounds/ call outs
Stars. Simple but elegant! Love the chimes.
I could also say position number. 5 as “old school”. Getting into EM’s and classic SS’s.

As of 1/21/24:

SW Premium a Staple on my list
Godzilla
Stern JP
BSD
CCLE ( becoming my favorite "Old School" W/B)

I love all of the different responses and approaches. I always enjoy when this thread pops back up. Here areGo mine:

White Water: first game I ever bought and still so much fun. It is amazing the muscle memory with this game. I can go weeks without playing and it's still so familiar.

The Shadow: recently brought this game back into the collection. It is so incredibly fun an unique. Not my favorite theme, but the game play is fantastic.

The Big Lebowski: I haven't had a bunch of time on this machine, but everytime I play, I have a blast. And it's a dream theme.

Attack from Mars: I did a playfield swap on mine and then sold it. I regret it. It's a tough call with MM, but I have to go with Attack.

Godzilla: I have a pro. I would love to get a Premium. This game is pure fun. It's challenging, great shots, and so accessible for all.

Have you played PF? I have one on order but mostly for the theme.

I’m on the fence about Alien too. I’ve played it but not a lot so can’t decide about it. Seems like a good price for the new version.

#945 3 months ago

1. Godzilla
2. IMDN
3. Indiana Jones
4. Medieval Madness or Twilight Zone
5. TNA? - Some single level. Maybe Pulp or a Centaur instead but definitely a single level.

I pretty much can only own 5 when I eventually reach my max. 2 of my 3 current are already on the list. With Centaur and Looney Tunes on order, we'll see next year how this transforms to or away from this "ultimate" Top 5. I took this thread as "You get 5 pins and can never change them" lineup.

Yes, last year at two different shows. The theme and Thiel on sound sold me and I ordered when it was revealed, prior to playing it. Once I got to play it, I got confirmation that the sound was fantastic. Gameplay wise, it’s a lot of fun if you like single level games. Are there cheaper classic games available for a fraction of the price with similar layouts? Yes, but not with this rare QT-sanctioned theme, and amazing audio with classic call outs and a great soundtrack. Also those older games won’t be in NIB shape, and if they are, you’re paying a high ticket for it anyway.

I got Alien:RE in just the last few weeks. It’s a dream theme for me. I got to play it on location here and there and knew it had great assets but always felt I wasn’t getting the full experience. That was definitely true. It shines in the home environment with the lights low and volume high. Its rule set is also what I like. Simpler modes, like the Bally/WMS games from the 90’s. Easy to learn but hard to master.

I’ll have Alien and PF forever. Even if I get out of the hobby because I don’t like playing anymore, they’re still badass works of art.

Quoted from Mattyk:

Do you like all those better than you liked Alien?

Alien was my 5th, but I’ve been playing DP a lot lately on location and it’s been making me want it again. If Foo doesn’t get a big code update Alien will take its spot. Round and round we go There’s 3 pins that will probably be in my top 5 forever and it’s the 3 Elwin’s. Nobody makes a complete game like that team.
