Quoted from ronaldvg:1. Simpsons pinball party - best theme integration ever
2. Medieval Madness - This one started the hobby for me
3. Indana Jones Pinball Adventure - My first ever real pinball machine
4. Game of Thrones - Great game, great theme
5. A really good virtual pin so I can have them all
Solid Picks.
Lol. You right. Jajaja.
Quoted from Gorgar666:Flintstones? Wondering why?
Appeals to all ages and keeps the kids off the Cactus and Led Zeppelin.
"Go for the strike"
My list:
MM - I love the theme and callouts. Fun for beginner to decent players IMO and a classic game. I owned a remake in the past and am on the hunt for an original. Would love to have it in the lineup again in the future.
BKSOR - I love the speed and music on this one. I own a pro and don’t think it will ever go anywhere. It makes me hit start over and over.
The Shadow - I own this as well. I love the diverters and I think the Sanctum lock is one of the coolest in pinball. I love the Battlefield as well. Don’t think it’s going anywhere anytime soon.
JJP PotC - I haven’t spent a ton of time on this one, but the time I did spend, I was blown away. The amount of things going on in the game was amazing and I loved the mini ship. I hope by some crazy miracle that they make more of these so I can get one.
Mando - I might look back at this and think “boy was I stupid for adding that” but the theme is perfect for my family and I and the shots and callouts are great. Really hoping to find one in the near future to purchase as it seems to be a perfect game for my family.
Thanks for reading!
SNES which model Mando you leaning towards? I have been playing a lot of the pro on location and couldn’t be happier with that choice. I don’t feel like I am missing anything that the premium offers. I know Mando sitings will continue to increase until they reach the point they are practically everywhere. So with that kind of access, I can afford not to to buy one. I can save my money. But I imagine since you and family are fans of the theme, owning one is the way, the only way for you.

Yeah, I agree with you on pro vs premium. When I heard about Mando coming out I thought I would probably go premium, but after watching streams and playing the pro I’m going after a pro. Unless I play a premium and it blows my mind somehow that I don’t anticipate, a pro will be my next purchase. Or a Medieval Madness if someone wants to sell me one for cheap haha
On second thought, as you can see from all of these great game lists... there is no 'ideal, perfect 5...'
So get the best 5 games you can afford, and then rotate the game you play the least with a new game.
NEW adds lot and we're fortunate this hobby happily supports 'rotation'.
No MMR LE?
Alien LE by Heighway. best sci fi theme and bloody tough.
Twilight Zone with the third magnet is a close second.
Sopranos adult version. Show me the money man!
Indy 500. Fast and exciting like the race.
Lord of the rings LE. Great theme, lots to do,and exciting.
Quoted from Cantabkiwi:In not set order...
TNA
Tron
Ironman
Rick and Morty
Shadow
That’s the who’s who of fast and brutal pinball.
It is.
Owned many other top rated pins out there.
Tz, Adams, whitewater etc etc
F14 nearly makes the cut....but when I had a game and did not touch the ball once for a game I swore at it. Cursed the pinball gods, started drinking, rocked it n a corner and questioned the universe and physics....Why o Why
Having a flashback....need a drink to wipe that memory, maybe a second then a fifth
I’ve done this list every year for the past 2 years.
The top 5 for me in 2021 are:
-Creature from the Black Lagoon
-Twilight Zone
-Attack from Mars
-Card Whiz
-Sopranos
I’m interested in seeing what I put next year lol

So 5 years later only White Water still in the collection. I do have a ST prem VE now as well if that counts.
Updated list:
Star Wars prem comic. Best all around pin in my opinion. Speed, rules, integration, sounds, light show and art.
TZ. To me the ultimate 90’s DMD
IJ. Getting into it a lot in recent days. Not sure why now versus the past ,but it’s Indy and great integration
I500. Speed game. Lots of timed shots, great sounds/ call outs
Stars. Simple but elegant! Love the chimes.
I could also say position number. 5 as “old school”. Getting into EM’s and classic SS’s.
Been thinking about this a bit more - here is my list for NOW! Wanted to have a manufacturing, historical, theme spread
Wonka - flow fun!
Attack from Mars - seriously my favorite!
Deadpool premium - super fun, need one modern stern - Elvira, Jurassic Park, Metallica could be the right one for you, but Deadpool for me
TNA - need a brutal one
Joker poker - work for me, but could go with a Stern oldie - Stars, meteor or a Bally one like Harlem.
Quoted from nicoy3k:Insert arbitrary choices.
Maybe these would be your choices?
Arbitrary choice 1 = Star Trek pro

Arbitrary choice 3 = Deadpool pro
Arbitrary choice 4 = Iron Maiden pro
Arbitrary choice 5 = Guns N' Roses SE

That’s what I have at the moment, doesn’t mean it’s what I will have 6 months from now or that these are the best choices for someone else.

4. Hobbit - Incredible theme integration and depth. I miss owning this game.
