Looks like I'll be able to make the l-o-n-g drive up from central North Carolina to attend the first day and a half of the show. Can't wait to meet a lot of you guys I haven't connected with before. Great stuff!

I'd love to know if anyone from down this way (NC, VA, SC, etc.) is going to have any room to bring a pin back at least partway here. I expect my car will be full, and Don Bosworth is not expecting to be there (my usual delivery service). If so, I'll definitely pay for your trouble. If not, I probably won't be able to buy a pin, and I know that I am going to be sorely tempted!

Many, many thanks to the organizers. It's great that you're putting this together. Much appreciated!

I might be able to get up there by late afternoon on Thursday. If so, I'll be happy to spend whatever time is left in the day helping wherever help is needed.

Please PM me if you know of any good EMs that will be for sale at the Pintastic show in a couple of weeks. With effort, I might be able to make room for one more (for now!). Given that limitation, I would want a very good playing machine, ideally in quite good condition. (Something I'd want to hang onto for quite some time, in other words. I've been eying Joker Poker, for instance.) Anyway, I'd appreciate hearing in advance about any EMs that will be there for sale so that I might have a chance to arrange shipping. Thanks!

    As posted in another thread:

I would like to have the option of buying another EM at Pintastic, but I won't have room in the car to haul it home. Is anyone coming to the show from the southeast (VA, NC, SC, GA, FL) who might have space to transport an extra pin? Of course, I'll gladly help with your expenses. Please PM me if that is a possibility. (As you can see, I live in Durham, NC.) Thanks!

I've been here since 11:00 this morning assisting where needed. As expected, I have been able to see all of the new pins, including the P3. What I hadn't expected was to have dinner with Roger Sharpe. Nice...

Looks like it is going to be a terrific show. It's very hard to believe that this is the first attempt. Very impressive!

Wonderful show! I've enjoyed it quite a bit more than Allentown, in all honestly. Not as many vendors, of course, but almost everything else is better. Well, there is no farmer's market, but there are several restaurants nearby. Gabe and Derek have done an outstanding job (and Jim and his crew with the tournament!).

I agree that the Embryon was a much more interesting pin than I had expected. Big sucker, too!

Loved meeting so many great people. That was the highlight of the show by far.

My biggest mistake: not bringing enough cash to buy a second pin!

In sum, it was well worth the long drive from North Carolina (heading home tomorrow from my sister's house in Connecticut). I had a great time.

    Quoted from joeraptor2003:

Just finally got finished unpacking form the show

Great to meet you. (I was the guy who got the Indy stuff.)

Now I have heard it all!

Not if you'd been using your earplugs!

    Quoted from heckheck:

Then offer a show special ordering period and have the stuff sent to my house after the fact.

This would be appreciated. I needed some rather obscure Gottlieb stuff, for instance, and I honestly didn't expect anyone to have it, but it would be nice to be able to order at a discount (or with free shipping) within a week of the show.
