I was looking at the building description on the york expo's website... those 10,000 extra square feet are going to be nice! The building having a lobby will also be a big plus. Rich, thanks for taking the show to new levels this year! I booked my room at the show hotel this week - they still have rooms at the show's group rate.

Did you call the local hotel and actually talk to somebody at the local hotel? The first time I called I got auto-routed to their call center which couldn't see the show rate. But, they transferred me back to the hotel front desk and from there I got one at the show rate.

I did a bunch of work this week getting KAHR.US Circuits ready for the the show. I have a new display that I'm confident will make it easier to find me! Don't forget, come to my booth and tell me about the WPC based game (Bally/Williams Funhouse through Cactus Canyon) you put in freeplay and get a thank-you gift.

Not sure yet whether I'm bringing SWE1 for charity play in my booth. Darned thing is heavy...

I neglected to mention it in this thread previously, but like I did at TPF, I will have a programmer on site so I can upgrade any 2016 edition Pro Daughterboard with the new 2017 edition software for only $10.

I won't be rolling in to town until Friday morning around 8:00 AM.

Nah, those bikes will be noisy but I don't think they'll be in the way. Web site says they begin staging at 4:30 arriving through Carlisle gate. Looks like they are going to stage in the parking lot outside the buildings the show was in previous years because they are exiting through Madison gate for the parade.

This link has a map that shows the area with closed streets for the street party - that's the area to avoid (if driving) or to seek out if you want to catch the end of their street fest after our show's doors close. http://www.yorkcity.org/files/special%20event%20parking.jpg

Now, if you happen to be trying to sell a Harley themed pinball, make it visible to that crowd and you'll probably get premium pricing! And Rich, if you can get some "York Pinball Show" yard signs with arrows printed up you probably could draw in some of the bike crowd into the show while they wait for the parade to begin. Not sure that can be done in one day... even if you had nothing else to do!

Packing the car and I found a Playfield Protector for a Skateball that I got by mistake. I have zero use for it and am willing to pass it along to someone who does. Come and ask for it at my booth.

Here is what my booth looks like. Drive took a little over 2 hours from D.C. area so I rolled in right at 8 am. Was set up and ready at 10 when the show opened. Like Skip says, this hall has a really good feel to it. I think the high pitched ceiling adds a lot compared to the flat tile ceiling in the other building.

Made it home safe - hope everyone else does too!

Had a great time, bought some great used parts, and also picked up Pbpins Surf Side framed backglass (post 650 or so) - it's really a nice piece and well framed. All I have to do now is figure out how to ship it to my brother's place in Texas. Box-in-a-box is what I've always read, but it sure feels risky to hand it off to the great unknown world of shippers...

Was real tempted by that great Hi Low Aces near my booth, but in the end its good I didn't pull the trigger on that one.

...or pre-sales which are made easy with eventbrite.com. If you want to get fancy I think you can do timed entry to control crowds and also do premiums for 'all access'. Note that not every pre-sale actually shows up at the door on event day.

Pbpins - I thought you might be interested to see where the Surf Side BG ended up - I shipped it to my brother in Austin. He hung it in his beach house down in Corpus Christi.
