The playfield's now finished. I put down a layer of clear, sanded it down just a bit, printed up decals using paper from decalpaper.com, and used some decal set solution to apply them. Another layer of clear on top of that, and it's all done:
After two years, it's a really weird feeling to finally see this thing done. There are a few spots that I messed up, but nobody else is likely to ever notice them, and it sure looks a damn sight better than it did when I started.
Next up is clearing out the holes with some brad-point drill bits, and then we being the grand sorting.
I'm also going to be building a rotisserie using Vid's plans so I can work on this thing sitting down in my living room. Much better than trying to clumsily work on it in my garage with four quick clamps as legs.
