I used to drive for Fedex 25 years ago, and Hyde street (and the wharf) was once part of my route. I remember seeing panicked tourists lose traction when stopped on the cable car tracks.

The trick is to just roll backwards off the tracks to get the tires back on the asphault. They would be too nervous to figure it out.
