If you still have time, the ferry ride from the ferry building at the end of market over to jack london square is a great ride right under your man-crush bridge. Great photo ops, and then you get to see all the massive oakland cranes up close (the inspiration for the At-Ats in Empire)...

Also remember to try out the San Mateo/92 bridge next time you are up -- set cruise control for 55 mph in the right hand lane and give yourself a 10 minute day dream...

First person I've ever known to actually visit the Salton Sea. Picture of Fiona is priceless. I'm having trouble imagining how you "Get used" to that smell. You mean to tell me people actually live there? With the smell?

Mono Lake east of Yosemite smells of sulfur and is quite interesting, but last time I checked nobody lived out there...
