It appears that the Sanctum drop target on this Shadow I'm working on might be in need of some viagra.

Issue:
- The wall does not stay up when the up coil is tested in coil test mode. When I manually push the wall up, it locks in place just fine. It then goes down without issue in coil test mode.
- Errors thrown on boot: Check switch 51, Wall Target Down, Err. Wall Target Bad Chk. Switch/Coil

What I've tried thus far:
- Removed assembly, fully cleaned all gunk from the wall plastic and everywhere else, making sure I reinstalled the E-clip and plastic bracket properly
- Verified that the switch is NOT engaged when the wall is up and engages just as the wall is nearly into full "down" position
- Confirmed that the linkage which pushes the wall up does not get caught on the switch arm.
- Adjusted the switch arm and tested it manually in edge test mode to verify it goes on and off as it should

Any/all advice here would be greatly appreciated! I've read dozens of forum posts already about this and I feel like I've tested all of the usual suspects but I'm sure I'm missing something here. Hopefully something simple.

Thanks in advance!

Has it bent down a tiny bit and doesn't push the target higher like it used to ?

Hmm - not that I can tell. What's the easiest way to verify this?

Bend it up a little.

Do you mean bend the bracket pivot assembly (A-18777)? Or did you have another part in mind?

I pulled out the entire drop target assembly again and I think I discovered the root cause. When I manually push the plunger all the way up, the pivot assembly doesn't quite push the wall up far enough to lock in the upper coil plunger. And the pivot assembly is REALLY loose - you can rotate it maybe 45 degrees either direction. So I pulled it out, cleaned off some old grease and sure enough, the through hole looks enlarged significantly. It's nearly flush now with the top portion, which is I think why it doesn't get the leverage it needs to push the wall up high enough. Check out the photo to see what I mean.

It looks like Marco has the part so I guess this is just a replacement and then I should be good to go?
Or is there a way to machine the pivot to make it work as-is?

Grab the new part. Be done with it.

Copy that. Ordered. I'll update here after installation.

Yep, that totally fixed it.

For grins, take a look at this side-by-side of the old vs. new pivot. Boy, was that thing shot.

Anyway, case closed!
