You guys should try and make the tourney at Nickelrama in Garland wednesday night. Aerosmith on location, get in some practice.

Quoted from rotordave:

- turn signal use is optional and few choose to use the option
- on the freeway, F150 crew cab trucks can squeeze into gaps the size of Corollas. Or at least that's what the drivers think
- the speed limit is the absolute minimum starting point for everyone, even little old ladies
- it is mandatory to stay in the middle or left lane until 100 yards before your exit, then you pull across all the lanes at high velocity and exit as you please. Preferably while not exercising the turn signal option.

Uh, this is applicable in Dallas also. Welcome to town.

Downtown Dallas.

Ingress portal. LOL.

I'll tell you guys the batman rules at nickelrama...it's pretty straightforward, the game just doesn't tell you anything at all. :p

It was nice to see you guys. That tourney was crazy. I had Keri Wing in my last two rounds. Pretty awesome that we had three top ranked women there. Keri beat me up, lol. She had a come-behind 60 million ball 3 on Walking Dead, then in the finals she just crushed dual sparky multiballs on ball one and none of us could catch up. I got REALLY close with a super-controlled sparky but not close enough....and then somehow tilted on an unsaveable ball. Not very sure if bonus would have been enough, but there was like a 7 million gap, so I don't think so.

Wait wait wait...

"R" Taco?! Is this Rusty Taco and they finally had to change their name because they suddenly realized that it sounded like a bleeding female apparatus? LMFAO...

Guess so!

"Looking for Rusty Taco? You found us! We are the same Rusty Taco you love, but now also known as R Taco."

/facepalm

Was that sandwich at Arby's or Carl Jr.? LOL

Fun trivial fact: Electra is often used in the cell phone game Ingress as a primary anchor point to create fields that cover all of D/FW metroplex.

60 is cold? I'm wearing shorts and sandals...

NIB Interflip Dragon

No doubt the one I had cash in hand to buy and was here in Dallas that I tried to buy.. grr. I'd rather it ended up there than in the hands of someone else that would just hoard it or flip it though. BAO

Yeah, I asked her if it was the one that had been for sale in Texas. She didn't know, but it must be that one.

Right? How many can there possibly be LOL

Spicy ketchup for the win.

Quoted from rotordave:

I would guess it used to be a limestone quarry.

That's my understanding. Last time I was there was right after Poltergeist had been built.

I've never seen a dual flush anywhere. Texas, Atlanta, Louisville, NOLA.

Moderately irked that the AOD was right THERE and didn't get to see it. =Þ

Congrats to Danni...late, I know, but frankly after TPF and driving 1000 miles on Tuesday to get a WPT, I've been wiped out the whole week!

Dunno about down there but it's basically been storming all day long in Dallas. X_X

I literally cried (Yeah, that's right, I'm man enough to cop to this.) when I visited Houston and saw the Saturn V. I don't think I really ever understood the ridiculous scale of that thing prior to that. It's honestly overwhelming to see in person and up close, both as a NASA nerd growing up, and just as a human being watching the sad state of space exploration the last 10 years.

Quoted from egyptrus:

My wife and I are headed to Houston this weekend for a wedding and were thinking of heading to NASA on Friday to take a tour. Any tips on touring NASA? I don't know who Bruce and Blake are but if they're available to show us around, that would be great
Dave

If you play Ingress there's a bunch of portals there, and if you want to do the missions, some of the stuff is only accessible from the tram.
