The skill level of Pinballers has gone though the roof.
The biggest change of course is information. When I was growing up no one around here was drop catching really or shit like that. And if no one did it, then you don't learn to do it because you have no other outside influences. People getting into it now, eXpecially kids, have all the "secret" knowledge right off the bat...and that's before we even get into the home market changing the amount people can play.
Habit breaking is also hard. I can drop catch 9 out of 10 scoop shots on DI because I was doing it form the start. Doing it on TZ is so much harder because I have played it for 25 years NOT doing those things.

Couldn't disagree more with suggestions for Frankenmuth. It's 100 boring ass miles from Detroit and nothing much of interest there to a well traveled person.
God that place is goddamn horrible. I know because whilst Dave was at the VFW I was in Frankenmuth.
