A few words of advice on those counter tops, based on personal experience:

The formica laminate tends to pick up static, which could hurt the chips on a processor circuit. Plus, it scratches fairly easily.

The rolled outer edge causes those little "ogeesis" clips and pins to roll off the top, onto the floor where they're never seen again.

The overall depth of that counter top isn't adequate to get your legs under the "bench" to work on most things. You would need a 3 to 4 ft. deep benchtop to be comfortable working on your stuff. A solid-core door works much better, less expensive, and is suited for a work shop environment. In fact, removing one of those cabinet units and spanning the gap with the countertop makes it much more functional.

Ask me how I know about those counter tops....

You can find blemished solid-core doors at the yard for next to nothing. They have a hole drilled for the lockset, but sometimes that's good...you can run cords thru it or locate your spun-metal solder sponge there. The passage doors have a nice sharp outer edge and can take abuse all day long.

Leaving one cabinet out where your work area is will give you clearance for your legs when you sit there.
