Quoted from Boat:Regarding donating, and the chance to win a game. NIB from what company?
Homepin!
What difference does it make? You hate JJPs or something?
Besides, I'm winning that game anyway so don't waste your time...
Quoted from pins4life33:The great thing about YEGPIN tournaments is that they are truly for all skill levels so it doesn't matter if you think you suck you can actually have a chance for the playoffs in your skill level.
He's not kidding either - I've won twice over the years!
Quoted from pins4life33:Well that is a wrap all VIP's have been sold to YEGPIN: 2020 Pinball and Arcade Expo. Thanks again to the entire community for contributing to our event.
Please note only weekend passes can be purchased online now at a discounted price which ends on March 1, 2020.
If you want to come to the event and participate in the tournaments you still can. As long as we do not go over 240 competitors you can register directly at the event for the Canadian Pinball Championship and Classics Pinball Tournament. Also you can register for the Pro Pinball Tournament or Women's Canadian Pinball Championships. A one time registration fee will be $25 for those that have not purchased a VIP Pass to play in these events.
There will be a number of announcements over the next weeks to give you some extra tidbits on the show. Stay tuned!!!
Congratulations Derek and everyone involved with organizing this event! You've come a long way baby!
Quoted from northerndude:Not trying to go with jokes here, but is there enough sanitizer in the world to host a pinbal festival and tournament. There can’t be many get together of a scale this large where people are non-stop touching the same things over and over.
This could be dicey.
Sorry if beating a dead horse. But you’ve probably already been going to ideas and contingency’s about the pinfest
Derek will be measuring everyone's temperature as they enter the venue. I've already got my excuse ready - "It's not Coronavirus, it's Pinball Fever!".
Seriously though, I can handle missing working at the office, attending movies and concerts, etc. but missing Yegpin would truly suck...
With the rec centers being closed at least they shouldn’t lose their deposit (I hope).
And better now than *after* they moved all those games.
Quoted from Dee-Bow:I should be having a cold beer with Alberta'ns right now!
FYTR'S LOUNGE-closed for the season!
Great weather forecast too - such a bummer...
