Quoted from mnpinball:Borg is very talented and is finally getting his dues. He designs, creates, molds, mechanical engineer, does the manuals and drawings. It's endless what he can do and he's a machine !
IMHO Borg's reputation has risen to where it should've been all along. Borg has always accomplished amazing things. GNR- concept to production- 4 months? Insanity...esp when we know how long Lawlor and Ritchie took to design a machine, with 10 times the resources. The dude is the most valuable employee Gary's ever had, and has probably been the most underrated pinball talent in the past 20 years.
Given that he had so much less time to work on design, that he is often his own mechanical engineer (!), had much less resources and patents, less programming talent, and a fraction of the BOM and engineering manpower that all the Williams designers of the 90's did... what you're now seeing is exactly what these designers are capable of on an even playing field, and Borg's games are shining.
