Have fun! I want to do Firepower, but I haven't built a rotisserie yet. It's pretty awesome seeing the color difference in your photo.

I've done 4 pf swaps so far and have yet to use a rotisserie. I'll put the wood strips around the perimeter of the new pf and turn it upside down into the body to install all the bottom items first, then flip the pf over and install all the top items. Granted a rotisserie would make life easier, it takes up more space then I would have

This will be my first swap. I don't have the money to buy the parts and build a rotisserie at the moment so I haven't started yet. I may try your method because I really want to play on a nice playfield.

#5 9 years ago

Hmm is that a playfield overlay?

#6 9 years ago

Why yes it is. When no one wants to buy it, I figured I may as well find a machine and put it into it. I got a response from some one selling one and it definitely needs a new pf. as the pictures show.

Boy, I get no breaks on this Xenon, not only did the spare now overlaid playfield come with out all the colored light inserts, there is no t-nuts on the back, no flush bulb sockets, or ground wire. A challenging puzzle it has become.

Thank you, I am working on one more like this, then doing another which is in need of a lot of help. I plan on re-stenciling the cabinet using blue chrome and red chrome paints for a different look. I have done this on a barracora I'm working on now using purple chrome.barracuda 001.JPGbarracuda 001.JPG
