Not the cause of your immediate problem but if those speakers are 8 ohms, They should be wired in series, they are now wired in parallel which gives 4 ohms to the amp. Might have blown the audio amp. Test the speaker resistance with your meter by placing your leads on the two pin connector pins that go to the speakers.

Tested tonight.......I'm getting close to 100. I thought that would have been based on the volume pot?
I think you are not measuring it right. Then just test each speaker. 8 ohms?
If those speakers were wired in parallel from the factory then it was a mistake. I Have seen many games from that era, always wired in series. And... a 4ohm load will blow a 40 year old TDA2002 at full volume.
