Hi guys,

My father and I just recently picked up a Bally Xenon only to find when we brought it home, the right flipper rockets back and forth when held down. From what I've read I know this means its not switching to low voltage. Looking at the flipper closely I don't see anything immediately wrong with the EOS switch but then again I'm a novice with these types of things. Perhaps the wiring is bad? The left flipper holds down fine, so thankfully I would think that discounts any idea its something with a board. Let me know what you think. Can post more pictures if needed.

Here is the distance between them. Its almost identical to the working one in distance, so I think that part is ok. Will check for all the suggestions so far, thank you everyone for the quick response! FYI, Sorry for the bad focus on the picture!1st picture is bad flipper, second is good one.

Update: we soldered both the connection that looked like a cold solder and the small wire connection. We also cleaned the EOS switch with 99% alcohol. No visible wire is broken so if the coil is bad, I'm guessing its on the inside so we should probably just try and buy a new coil than find the break. Any chance the diode is the problem? Also, it looks like the EOS switch was bent either by the machine gunning itself or someone tinkering with it before us. Not sure if it matters if its not flush. I guess my next question is, who is the best person to get the right replacement coil from?

Update 2: We swapped the leaf switches just to see what would happen. Same issue on the bad flipper, good flipper with the other leaf switch still worked fine. I'm going with bad coil, so we just ordered a new one today from marco specialties. Thank you everyone for the quick responses!
