Hey got some interesting wire damage on my Xenon that I have been working on. It looks like mice have been chewing on it. I thought it was burnt at first, but the more I look it looks chewed.

Not sure how I am going to proceed. I would just cut the bad stuff out and rehook it to the connector, but it looks like they looped the wire thru the connector so the wire can continue to the next connector. So I don't know.

Anyone else have this similar type problem and how did you fix it? Thanks!

cover the bare spots with heat shrink tubing.

You can take those black covers off, they just pop off so you can get a better look.

If it was a end-of-line connector, you could use shrink tube and then reassemble the connector, but since the wires continue on to the next.....

Looks like a job for liquid electrical tape

It comes in different colors.

They have it at the hardware store or HF
