Quoted from RGR:Hmmm I wonder if ACDC would have been a better game if they used to the playfield from XMEN, minus the characters of course...
What is it that you do not like regarding AC/DC ?

Hello Fellow X-Men
I was looking (Thinking ) on getting one of the LE's , but have a few questions please, as I have not followed this.
Who is doing the code on this ? and do you feel that the code will be completed?
Also any ideas as to if it will be Deep or shallow type of game rules?
also regarding the moving ramp, looks like it might block the view of t he playfield ( your thoughts please )
and pop up targets ( MM Trolls ) Could this be modded with some type of figurine head ?
Opinions please
Thanks
Another Video Popped up,
Looks like a Health meter used on the DMD?

Quoted from DugFreez:Yeah...it's as simple as that. I sold stuff on ebay and craigslist for a month straight (including every other pin I owned) to drop $6k+ on a pin I don't like.
I feel like I'm just pointing out the things that seem very wrong with the sound. I know there will be updates, but it really boggles my mind that people are talking about how great it is when sounds clips are just bad and being repeated over and over and over back to back. It's honestly more of a glitch than a criticism.
I guess you can't really blame Stern because they didn't make any of the "biggets sound package ever" "running on the AC/DC boards with more memory" "Same voice actors as the Wolverine and the X-Men animated series" "More time spent on this game than any other at Stern" claims. It seem that they have had folks with "insider" information leak stuff that just doesn't look to be true.
I'm sure it will shape up and get better, but saying it's great now just seem like folks are trying to fool themselves into being happier with their hard earned purchase than they really are...or should be. I'm in for this game and really hope I love it. I plan on it being a keeper. I don't feel like any of my criticisms have been bashing the game. I guess I'm just dissapointed that it looks like a lot of this "insider info" was bunk and concerned about what will get fixed, added and what I will just get used to.
You have to give it some time for the update to come out with the codes.
all pinballs are the same these days.
very plain at the start.
Quoted from Wamprat:Ahhh man this pin is looking better and better and it is giving me one hell of a headache trying to decide if I should pull the trigger on a X-MEN LE or wait for Avengers LE to come out? Is Avengers definately next cab off the rank?
I can only afford one of them at present.
Hahaha Welcome to the club,
I decided to get the X-Men, Because I know now what its going to be.
you never know what the Avengers will be like ( could be a lemon )
and you will miss the boat with X-Men by then if you want the LE.
Gambit3113
This is what I was thinking, But do not have one here to measure (reason for my size question above)
Not sure if this would work or not, but I think they look alot better.

Thoughts ?
Quoted from copperpot:I ordered one through the disney store sale. I'll let you know, but this bank seems way too big for that spot. I'm thinking someone will take the diamond select figure and make a custom base for it:

I guess I will have to wait , not only for my LE, but mods
It's getting very exciting....
Hmm wonder if these could be used for the Night Crawlers,
remove head and attach to switch?
Would look better than plastic target.

Quoted from DugFreez:I have one of those...it's quite a bit bigger than the one in the game.
Bugger, was a thought I guess
Quoted from Kingoftron:Here's a link to to KLOV thread where I posted a ton of pictures of the unboxing/setup. Really wish we could post pictures on this site as easily as KLOV.

Nice Pics
Quoted from mcfly:my machine will be here in another week .. yippee.. long wait ,, at least i can keep reading about it ,, still hope the update my be here by then though ..
I think it was meant to be here in Australia on the 6th (AMD)
Wonder if they have arrived today?
Finally got my Wolverine today
What a Blast to play, thank you Stern and Borg for this amazing machine!
Cannot stop playing it.
Very nice McFly
You just have to be careful when you take the lock down bar off, as it will scratch the side rails fast.
P.S Noticed you have already printed custom cards and custom key chain
Okay Rob,
I didn't want to be responsible for any permanent damage to your retinas.
Here's the blue. The paint works great and dried in minutes. Just pick up 9' of cheap dark blue 3/4" T-molding and some KRYLON Fusion for plastics - Patriot Blue.
I like this much better and will just set aside the stock chrome in case I ever change my mind.
Looks very nice
I actually modded my Simpsons (Sold now)
Cut out the speaker holes to look like a Bally-Williams
Hand painted Bart and Lisa on the speaker grill.
etc
Thanks Guy's
It took around 2 days to complete it, Painted the Speaker grill, the clear coated over top.
Had a Mate who routed the backbox speaker out how I wanted it to look.
Painted the routed sides in yellow and repainted the rest of the DMD panel in Satin Black.
Then added Yellow T Molding.
Looked Fantastic I must admin, But sold it and Purchased the Spiderman.
Always the same, when something gets finished its moved on
Was thinking to do the speaker grill for Spiderman one day.
As I have not decided what Image to do.
Too many other things to do these days
Quoted from Eskaybee:My wife wanted me to post this pic. It's me and our son hard at work. In the spirit of 4th of July, we were wearing our superman shirts
Very cute BuBs you have there mate!
look after him.....
P.s glad to see you back with Xmen
Quoted from Eskaybee:xmen; the game is in a good place now and I have confidence that they will deliver one more update! I just hope it's not a Xmas powerpack
Don't even go there mate Could not stand another Xmen power update!
That was a shemozzle of an update.
If there was only to be 1 more update for Xmen, OI think that there will still be problems with it.
As in the past there has always been an update followed with more bugs ( But I hope I'm wrong )
The 1.50 update is appreciated, and glad to see deadpool has arrived!
Can now only wish for one last polish to the code and it's an A+ game
Thank you Stern
I thought Stern was still doing one more update to Xmens Code?
Can anyone confirm that this is still happening.
My X-Men LE going no where, Very under rated game IMO!
Don't get your opinion changed on purchasing one by those who say the call outs suck etc.
I like them myself
Each to their own.
Quoted from FatPanda:Sound packages are ready for both PRO and LE versions.
