The blue LED above the Blackbird scoop keeps falling out on my machine. Anybody have any ideas before I pull out the hot glue?

I couldn't find an apron card set that I liked, so I used my extremely limited artistic skills to make these cards, which:
1) Use Jim Lee X-men art, which the machine's art is based on.
2) Features Deadpool
These are sized to print on 4x6 photo paper. You may need to experiment with "fit to page" or "no edgebleed" until it comes out the correct size.
Is the spotlight lamp aimed at Magneto different from the other spot lights?
I'm asking because I replaced it with an LED (that is otherwise suitable for inserts and GI lighting) and the plastic base burned brown. I'm wondering if I simply got a bad LED or if I need something different such as a 12V bulb.
X-men has its problems such as callout quality, hence its lower market price. But the layout is excellent, the rules are challenging (and configurable for mega-stacking), and the toys are interesting in the LE. The shortcomings seem trivial in comparison to the discount against machines like Tron.
I highly recommend the ramp post mod: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/x-men-ramp-posts-mod
