Anyone have any custom voice or music code?
Quoted from Ceemunkey:Awesome!!! Wow 9 years that is an epic quest.
Closest I ever got was only having Professor X left and I managed to start it twice and fail both times. Of all the modes - most of the time I complete it purely by accident! The Iceman ramp is super hard to hit (maybe it's just on my machine), so usually I'm left with that one or Wolverine.
I really cannot see how I would ever get to Dark Phoenix. The villain modes are so much harder.
Yeah I was on fire on this game. I saw I had storm and Phoenix left on ball 2 with an extra ball in hand. Managed to get those two knocked over on the extra ball so I had danger room lit on ball 3 drained and I think the ball save wasn’t flashing so I had my heart in my mouth thinking I’d blown it but the ball came back and I managed to drop it into the scoop! Winning!

I use this one it's awesome! Has music and callouts from the animated series:

Oooh so close! Only Iceman to go (you can't tell from the pic but iceman is flashing). I just had the typical dynamite ball 1, getting 5 heroes, extra ball etc then ball 2 was ok, got through some villains too but then ball 3 went pretty quick.
One thing that definitely seems to rack up decent points is getting Deadpool's help and then starting Brotherhood or Hellfire Club multiballs.
Fantastic game.

Where did you get that deadpool? The Beast is nice too.
This game is way to stingy with extra balls. You should get one after you defeat each villain. I don't see how I'll ever beat this game but I'll keep trying...

Here's Beast:

They are always on Ebay.
For Deadpool look up "deadpool minifigure" on AliExpress. Takes a couple months to get it, but it's good.

You can set the game to 10 balls in the settings.
Just do that if you want to explore the game more.

You definitely get one for completing 3 heroes, and then Nightcrawler - I always aim to get to that for the base of a good game. I think after that you get another if you complete 3 more heroes? Not sure about villains, I only ever complete 1 or 2 of those and maybe one of the multiballs.
Stick at it - it's taken me about 3 years to get close to Danger Room, but I've almost made it on my last 3 games in a row now. It's close I can feel it... (next 50 games are sure to be terrible ha ha).
Has anyone installed a PIN2DMD and got it working with the colorization files available over at VPUNIVERSE for X-MEN ?
Am now a proud member of this club
Thanks

Its not complete, but it works. Ive been chipping away and finishing what was started.
After being in from before day one, I will have my X-Men LE Wolverine at the Pincinnati show and for sale for $6000.
It has all factory fixes installed, all flashers converted to LEDs, a shaker motor and Speaker Light Kit with blue acrylic X designs. The tournament button has also been added. The ramp post have been changed, but the originals are included if you want to go original and get punished for missed shots. It has a mantis protector installed in the scoop as well as a shooter lane protector that was installed when the game was first unboxed. I am the first owner and it has never been on location. It is number #94 (issue 94 being Wolverines first appearance in a regular run X-Men comic).
The Wolverine figure has a broken arm, but I do have a brand new, unused Wolverine figure that will be included (along with a new Magneto figure). I also have the Mezel Mods captive ball mod that has never been installed as well as some other mods that were never installed (Iceman ramp icicles, target splints). All paperwork and goodie bag goodies are included along with a John Borg autographed flyer.
The game will be setup at the show so you can look it over and play it to check things out. It's in great shape with no flaws that I know of. If you would like to speak for the game in advance...that is fine and it can be picked up at the show location, before, during or after the show.
Here is a lengthy video of it being played by chuckwurt. He currently has the game and will be taking it to the show.
If you have any questions, please PM me.

Game seems highly underrated. I loved the pro on location . How can you check lifetime plays ? Or is this actually it ?

The Pin2dmd x-men file is unplayable at the moment. Some animation stay on the screen and you can’t see the score until a different animation is triggered.
Wait patiently for the Malenko update. Right now my Pin2dmd is set to mono blue to match Wolverine.

I am almost done getting the "stuck" animations off screen. I don't have the kind of time I used to so its taking significantly longer than I thought it would.

Let me know if you need help testing. I have a Pin2dmd installed in my x-men ready to go.
I'm joining the club.
Could somebody give me copie or list of the rubbers in the Pro version please.
Mine has no manual included.
What kind of X men toys do you use to fit on the playfield?
Thanks for the info.

PDF of the manual is on the Stern website. Rubbers are listed on pages P12 and P13.
PDF is a bit blurry, but is readable.

xmen pro - is there a flash lamp (#31) INSIDE the magneto figure? My #31 doesn't flash in test mode. How do I get inside the figure to change the lamp? thanks
I still LOVE this game.
One issue with mine is night crawler pops up then quickly registers as if I hit him when I didn't. It makes rhe games more easy but annoying to not earn it. Whats loose? My shaker is waaaaay ro strong. I figure that has something to do with it.

Mine flashes from within, not sure how to remove magneto though.

The switch that registers the Hit is probably just out of adjustment.

Thanks. Anyone know how to get at the flasher inside magneto?
Do a flasher lamp test on your game and see if your flasher #31 works.
EDIT: All set thanks to a previous pinside post about this exact issue.
You have to remove the iceman ramp and then remove the big plastic that magneto is attached to w/3 screws. There's also a flasher on the left and right side of the magneto lock entry. You might as well change them to LED flashers NOW while you're already in there. I drilled out the eyes of magneto so the light shines through them. It's creepy but pretty cool when it flashes.
I have to say that the flasher inside the magneto figure is such a subtle thing. The light only shines out through 5 small holes around his neck. You may not even notice it during gameplay. Stern didn't really think this "mod" through IMHO.

Installed colordmd and pinmonk’s light kit for the villain lights for Christmas. The colordmd is fantastic - really brings machine graphics to life and I’m surprised how much I like the colors on the villain lights. This pin is certainly staying long term.

Friend of mine has a Magneto with an aftermarket sound package/setup. Color DMD and Mirror blades.
Damn.
It is amazing how different it is from my Wolverine edition. Makes the pin feel way more modern.

I cannot stress how much the custom sound, color DMD, mirror blades and also the newton ball mod elevate this pin - it's like getting a whole new game.

Am I the only one that doesn't like the Newton ball?
Quoted from Puffdanny:Am I the only one that doesn't like the Newton ball?
Wow that's actually a huge surprise - I know it's kind of changing the way the game was designed (in a very minor way), it alters it ever so slightly just to open up the Beast/Xavier shots a touch, while making Wolverine multiball something you have to shoot for instead of accidentally starting it all the time.
I was amazed at those subtle changes it made - really opened the game up for me.
Quoted from Puffdanny:Am I the only one that doesn't like the Newton ball?
You haven’t experienced ‘broken-flop around-$175 for a new one Wolverine’ I’m guessing.
rd
Quoted from Puffdanny:Am I the only one that doesn't like the Newton ball?
I don't like the one-armed Wolverine or the $200 it costs to replace him.
Quoted from Puffdanny:Am I the only one that doesn't like the Newton ball?
You are not alone.
The only thing I don't like about the Newton ball mod is that it doesn't catch the ball as often on the magnet to start the multiball. Everything else about it is superior though.
Quoted from Puffdanny:Am I the only one that doesn't like the Newton ball?
I haven't used it but it looks horrible in the videos and pics COMPARED to the wolverine figure. Instead of cheap-ing out, I would just buy a new wolverine if mine broke.
What is the factory position of the outlane posts?
My son got to Danger Room first day we had the game, I need to slow him down!

Is Hero stacking switched on?
rd
What is hero stacking? Only one at a time is how it is running. rotordave you know what it’s like to have your kid crush your scores!
Checked the adjustments, #8 is NO.
He has gotten to Dark Phoenix once too. He’s pretty good, has got to NoTB on IMDN many times, I have never done it.
I’ll probably reset to factory though in case something else is set too easy. Or if folks have a good list of what to change from factory let me know.
Anyone else notice all this excitement about Rush, and it’s basically XMEN with arguably less on the playfield?
I’m thinking that instead of spending $12k on Rush LE, you could buy XMEN LE, every Rush record ever made, get a killer new stereo and speakers, spruce up your game room with art and new lighting and cater a party for all your friends to come over and play it. And you’d probably have a little leftover to send your wife on a little shopping outing.
And have just as much fun with your game.
