I hadn't planned on modifying Wolvie on mine, being that I could hit the Beast shot ok, but this thread convinced me to take the plunge. Let me confirm what others are saying: this is a no-brainer. 10 minutes, a screwdriver, and a pen knife were all it took. Now that the Beast shot is higher percentage, it's opening up a lot of shot strategy decisions I didn't have before.
I also did a temp fix on the Iceman posts while waiting for the parts to come -- I just slid a tapered post sleeve over the right post (it affixes tight enough to the bottom of the post that it is staying put) and removed the rubber on the left. All of a sudden, the Phoenix and Iceman shots are much more consistent, too. Pinside tips for the win.
