Quoted from Tmezel:Here is the LE concept Greg came up with. The crossover bridge is not a problem for clearance. We are almost there! No modification required to the Wolverine either.
The bottom of Wolverine will need to be cut a little to compensate for the changed angle.
Quoted from kesselrig:I believe there was discussion of the LE belt rotating the angle of the figure to make it more like the pro. Did that adjustment make it into the final design? I think that would open up both the Beast and Professor X shots, but it is difficult to tell from bballfan's photo.
Also, there was discussion of trimming the Wolverine figure. Is this the plastic under the center of the figure (ie. not visible) or is it necessary to shorten the figure for ice ramp clearance?
Yes the final design turns Wolverine towards to magnet like on the pro.
The Xavier shot is not blocked, Beast is more open, and the ramp will clear.
The hole underneath will only need to be enlarged to allow it to be angled correctly.
Quoted from Butch2099:The post that Wolverine sits on is square & tight. it won't fit in to the figure unless I start carving it up. I don't want to start carving it unless I'm sure that's what I'm supposed to do
You will need to cut the bottom hole out a little for the new angle.
Attach the belt and use the belt hole as a template.
Don't worry about the back splitting.
My Wolverine has the thin mounting area completely missing and it works fine with the belt.
If the belt seems loose add some 3m tape to the inside front of the belt.
Did you cut the bottom out using the belt hole as a template?
I wish Tim would have included my version of the angle shim.
It makes the install easier.
Yea not sure why he hasn't sent or posted instructions on this.
I sent them a how to a few weeks ago along with pics.
The 1st thing you need to do is cut out the bottom of Wolverine using the installed belt as a guide.
Next start the screws into the belt,Wolvervine, then shim.
Make sure the thicker side of the shim is on the right.
Lower the Wolverine back onto the bracket and angle it to where the belt is facing the magnet core.
Finally line up the holes and screw them in.
If the belt seems loose you can add some 3m tape in the front inside of the belt.
Hopefully this helps.
