x-men pro magnet problem

I just picked up a used X-Men pro and am having a problem with the magnets. When I switch on the machine, the magnets immediately turn on until the F7 (magnet) fuse blows. I'm not quite sure where to start looking for problems, does anyone have any guidance possibly?
