Call me nutballs, but I'd go with Avatar LE for the best "low price" LE. Not only is it super fast, fun, and addictive (Iron Man style) but legitimately rare with only 250 made.

A TON of games are like this. Just a geometry decision by the designer to make hitting shots feel better or prevent balls from coming straight down the middle from somewhere. There's no rule that the flippers have to be symmetrical with the apron shape.
