I put two different extra bright 555 LEDs from coin takers into the magneto spotlight and noticed smoke coming from them. Apparently they melted. Anyone have any ideas. I just put a regular 555 back in

The light that shines on the magneto that sits above the storm ramp is a 555 incandescent originally not 181.
When I bought my game it had a 555 in it. Should I be using the 906 led in there or an incandescent bulb
