Quoted from maffewl:

From the manual, it is a "Bumper Post" with 8-32 threads. Link below.
https://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/530-5057-00
I used a metal post with pointed-top as I liked the "spiked" look better and also wanted the wider base and thicker threads (10-32) as these things get pounded. Link below.

With the spike do you use one bumper or 2?

Funny you should ask. I originally began with one bumper, but noticed that they were beginning to get chewed up (image attached). This may also be because I have a washer underneath the post raising it a bit. However, I have subsequently placed a second bumper on the post, and all is good (image attached).

I use the fat bumpers there to make that shot a little bit harder.

Hi,

I removed the connections to my TAG (ball launch) button (without taking a pic) in order to get the light bulb to light up. I reconnected things and launch is working, but I'm now getting a slam tile whenever I hit the start button. Would someone please take some pictures of how their TAG (shooter) is wired. Could this be something else?

Thanks for pics and ideas.

I’m about to leave the club everyone. It’s been a great year playing one of the nicest WWF’s out there though! Going to a great home too. Not sure there are bigger wrestling nuts out there. Tsskinne will really appreciate this bad boy more than I ever could.

Oh no, he's gonna re-theme it to an AEW pin now.

I've created ( with the work by a much more talented design friend ) some new instruction cards. What do you guys think?[quoted image]

These are very nice. Very attractive and on theme. I do prefer it when all of the rules are on the card.

I’ve been having an issue where “in the ring” will activate, but when the ball comes back through it doesn’t register as completed.
I manually tested it and takes a few presses of the upper switch to make it work

#1361 4 years ago

Probably needs adjustment. Test it with the ball not your finger.

Does your machine not have a center post?

Also you should search this thread and find my apron cards. They really blend well with this color scheme.

That fantastic! I just finished having all my WWF metal parts powdercoated black but now I’m thinking I might have to redo in dark blue to match this artwork. Thoughts?

I personally think black would look best in contrast to the playfield. Can you send some pics?

I really would like to change it to the prototype decals but removing the old art work and putting on new art work is my least favorite thing to do with pinball

#1371 4 years ago

White powder coat looks sick with the new art package.

Yea I know! lol
I’m looking at the only pin I did which is the little yellow Super Mario pin. It looks great but removing the old art work and installing the new one still haunts me over 2 years later and it’s a smaller pin! WWFRR is a wide body! At least if I decide to do it my WWFRR could use it since the sides are a little beat up.

#1375 4 years ago

Also like to point out those different trim colors are great but WWFRR doesn’t use T moulding so you would have to paint the back box trim to match. Personally I like the black trim anyway so that wouldn’t be an issue for me.

Guess you really got traumatized by it. It takes work to do it but it's not that difficult. Maybe the only way for you to conquer that fear is to do it again?

Quoted from phillymadison:

I know. This was a mockup in case you would want to install t moulding. And it's to show the various possibilities.

My right flipper is sticking in the up position. The bottom is ok. Odd think is, to get the right flipper to release, I tap the left flipper button. All was well until recently.

Next time it gets stuck, turn the machine off. That will tell you if it's an electrical or mechanical issue. My guess is mechanical due to the left flipper vibration releasing it. If you turn the machine off and it stays there, that would confirm it.

Hi all,

I recently joined this club and picked up a Royal Rumble yesterday. I noticed that it is still running 1.01 code. Can anyone tell me if there are any huge differences between the 1.01 and the 1.06 code? Also, the different sound roms? I'm deciding whether or not I should even update it.

Thanks in advance!

You need to get a Pinsound board with the redone music/sound for WWF.

As far as I know there is no available sound package to download. I’m working on my own, but only about 80% complete.

Not that it mattered, but it was the right flipper in the upper ring. It appears to have been a coil sleeve, even there was no indication of binding or drag of any sort with the old one.

Next "issue", a slow rolling ball gets hung under the gate under the upper deck that prevents balls from going backwards down the loop. Balls are also getting hung on the slot where the Undertaker drops are, when one or more drops are down. Might this be a playfield angle issue? Too steep? Not steep enough? I believe I have it at about 6.5 degrees.

I had hangouts near the top, and setting the machine just slighter steeper fixed it completely,

If it’s the one I’m thinking about that has NWO music in it he can keep it lol.

I'm working on a mix that is all era-appropriate. I've only included the theme songs for the wrestlers in the game after their respective shots are made. I've also added a few that aren't on the machine, but of the era, for some of the modes ( Ricky steamboat, dusty Rhodes, etc ).

I had a macho man impersonator do some of the callouts, but I'm not sure they work with the other older callouts, as they are much higher quality .

What a major improvement to the game. Having this sound package really helps with the game being more modern.

Yea this is how it should have been! Great work! I might pm you if I decide to get the pin sound stuff.

If you’re looking at other wrestlers music that aren’t on the main game might I suggest some of the wrestlers from the prototype backglass? Ultimate warrior, Ric Flair etc

The warrior music is used when Royal rumble mode is ready.

So what needs to be done to get that sound package into the WWFRR? That sound is much better (I may have to get a colorDMD for it as well)

Yeah. There are so many animations in this game, including one for each of the 9 wrestlers. The colordmd really adds a lot to this machine.

You need a pinsound board ( and upgraded speakers recommended), and my remix.
