Not getting any love bump.

#3 6 years ago

Bump should be a killer time; Mike is a great person to deal with and a great friend; not to mention he always has killer parties

#4 6 years ago

BUMP> musketd, I'm runnin' into you on these forums of late, you goin'? Anyhow, I always liked DE Royal Rumble cuz know one else seemed to, but this should be good! Trudeau games are always players. Look forward to this!!

#5 6 years ago

Sounds like a blast and Michael is a top notch dude.

#6 6 years ago

Would love to go but I will be out of town. Have fun everyone

#7 6 years ago

Fifteen minutes away and never off when you have these. Damn.

Fun lineup of pins. A friend and I are most likely going to be attending.

#11 6 years ago

27 pins listed in your lineup, flyer says 30?

Not trying to bust your balls, just excited there might be more pins to play.

#12 6 years ago

Okay, there are 29 and a shuffle bowler. I added Batman Forever and RFM since the first post.

Very cool. Batman Forever is yet another pin I rarely see and would like to play. Good stuff.

#14 6 years ago

how about a metalica in the line up that would make 30 and a shuffle bowler! just may entice me to come.

#15 6 years ago

So this is a totally free event?

Its totally free. food/drinks/29 pinballs and a bowler to play. Michael always has games in great condition and is quite the host.

Now if they have an IFPA tournament and you want to play in it, you will pay the $5 or whatever to play in the tournament. This is optional. I didn't see any mention about a tournament this time in his listing so maybe he will chime in (although the launch party is on the stern flyer and the other stern launch parties have a tournament). Last time they also gave out stern promotional items.

Planning on being there with the wife, possibly the young'n if the event is family-friendly... She's only 7 but AC/DC is her favourite table.

No tournament this time. Only one WWE machine and no one to run it. Just togetherness, and pinball.

#19 6 years ago

Also, dress warm. It is my warehouse. There is heat, but it will not be balmy.

#20 6 years ago

Do we have to RSVP or let you know that we are coming?

#22 6 years ago

Good deal man... can we bring anything? Throw in a pizza or somethin? =) I always feel like a sponge when the word free gets tossed around, side effect of owning a business in a former life.

#23 6 years ago

All is covered. Also family friendly, less than the Playboy machine. Nude pictures in it.

#24 6 years ago

No worries there unless it's an '02 Stern... Mommy wants one of those.

What's a Playboy machine without nude girls on it??? Totally expected and approved

#26 6 years ago

Wish I could make it

#27 6 years ago

Can't wait. Should be a great outing for everyone whom attends!

#28 6 years ago

Family had a great time, Thanks Michael.

#29 6 years ago

Just got back from the party. The machine wasn't great, but I did have fun!!

#30 6 years ago

Fun time Michael! Thanks for opening your doors to the public to play some great games!!!

#31 6 years ago

Ditto - we had a great time as well. Very much appreciated and was nice meeting you, Michael.

#32 6 years ago

How was wwe,?

#33 6 years ago

Life achievement unlocked: Played a Tommy with working blinders and got them activated.

#34 6 years ago

WWE was... well, meh. It was pretty and fun but it didn't have the crazy fast addictive play I was hoping for. The silly upper level ring thing got annoying after a while and I mostly just wished the ball would have moved faster. Dunno, seemed like the line for the Walking Dead machine was longer most of the night.

#35 6 years ago

I am glad that everyone had a good time. I will say that most everyone was very respectful of my machines and the facility. Feeling slightly bad for booting you out at 9pm.

#36 6 years ago

I have a question. These games go mostly unplayed all year round. What if I opened up the facility maybe twice a month on Saturday afternoon in spring and fall? It could not be for free. There are costs to maintaining machines. Would anyone pay $20 for 4 to 5 hours of pinball on machines that are in pristine condition?

I'd be totally up for it. Wish I could have made it Sounded like a real good time. If anybody is interested, I'm hosting a TWD Tournament/Party on the 28th. No cost to enter...it's on me!

Mike , I wished I lived closer because the drive from Missouri to PA would kill me ! LOL But to answer your question, I would definitely pay $20 to someone with a collection such as yours if I was in the area. It would also give people a chance to play the latest releases from Stern since your a distributor and also give people a chance to exsperence your Flipper Fidelity products.

Here's my brainfart moment. I knew the place was the home of Flipper Fidelity going in but totally forgot that aspect while I was there, but remember thinking, wow these games all sound good and loud.

Lol. Makes sense now.

Guess there may be some speaker upgrades in my future.

I have Mike's Flipper Fidelity speaker and Back Box Led kits on my machines.
Like you said , "WOW" they do make a huge difference. Nice upgrades that really add to the playing experience of the machine.

#42 6 years ago

I would be interested in $20 for 4-5 hours of play.

#43 6 years ago

I was there and it was awesome, Thank You so much. A fantastic lineup, games in great shape, really great people.

WWE left me a bit cold, I prefer the Data East Royal Rumble personally.

I would definitely pay $20 on a Saturday to come play pins there for 4-5 hours.

#44 6 years ago

Great idea Michael. Count me in.

#45 6 years ago

Absolutely, would totally be into that!

Any snacks? Or, could we bring food and drink?

Yeah, with Pizza Time across the street and the Brown Jug down the block, would be good to sort that out. Personally, I'll starve myself for a week to play those tables but I have been looking into meetings. Pin Anon, I think?

All I know is, I have unfinished business with that RBION!

#49 6 years ago

I'm curious about the opinions of WWE. I've thought the same "meh" from what I've seen on a video or two of gameplay. Given that it's still in it's code infancy, does it have a chance to improve with better code? I'm thinking limit the # of times that the ball goes in the Ring is the way to go -- do the upper playfield control gates both open for "orbits" of the two ramps?

Even with that though, the game doesn't have a satisfying ramp flow shot imho.

#50 6 years ago

Snailman, I only played WWE three times and was quite bored with it. Along with the lack of flow, the songs it plays are not good. FWIW, I spent most of my time Friday playing AMH which I found way more fun by a long shot
