Quoted from daveyvandy:I remember seeing a video of a guy at a pinball tournament with a headlamp on.
Headlamps, Pinshades and fingerless padded workout gloves have all made appearances at league night.
What were we talking about again??

Quoted from adol75:And look twice if not thrice
splitcms is asking on my behalf.
I've looked thrice, and while I am (admittedly) terrible at looking for things, the backbox keys are not inside the door nor anywhere else in the cabinet.
JJP has been contacted.
Thanks everyone!
Quoted from LTG:Size T20 Torx security bit.

Anything glaringly obvious about the drilling-out process that I should be aware of?
Quoted from PghPinballRescue:DO NOT Drill out this lock!
Simply remove the 2 screws that hold the metal plate in place.
Quoted from LTG:Yes. don't drill anything.
See...glad I asked!
Thank you.
Quoted from LTG:Picture is what your lock looks like
Thanks. I've switched out a bunch of these for keyless options...just never had to deal with anything in the backbox before. Appreciate the fast response.
Quoted from zaphX:Oompa Loompa hurryup
Is this the two-ball Oompa Loompa multiball? I started that the other day but have no idea how.
Quoted from zaphX:That one is Oompa Loompa Odyssey, started by collecting one Golden Ticket and making the left lane under the Wonkavision.
Nice. Thanks!
Quoted from zaphX:I can break it down simply
This is amazing!
Guess who just copied/pasted your list and will print (and maybe laminate) a copy?
Willy Wonka - GOLDEN TICKET SUMMARY.pdfQuoted from Gavino:If it's getting laminated here's the correct spellings of Augustus Gloop and Mike Teavee!
What's the quick-and-dirty solution to my kickback not firing? It'll (maybe) work one out of 10 times.
Quoted from crobby:Is it not firing at all or is the timing just not right?
Good question. I believe it is a timing issue because it will fire occasionally.
Quoted from LTG:Center loop switch hasn't been activated recently.
Could be as simple as adjusting or hitting it.
In Tests - Switches - Matrixed - hit it. The game and manual has where it is to help you.
LTG : )
Awesome. I'll download the manual and look up how to activate it. I've definitely played a few games since first seeing the error message, so it's probably an adjustment thing.
Quoted from LTG:Page C-102 it's an opto. Upper right of center. Pass a ball or something in between the optos. May be as simple as slipped out of the lane guide it's stuck in.

Brilliant! I'll noodle around up there sometime this evening.
Thanks for the quick support.

Cleaned the optos and made sure all the connectors were reseated tightly. That seemed to do the trick. Appreciate your help @ltg!
Since you just posted @trumpanche, let me say that your Wonka's Factory gate is incredible. It's totally changed the game (for the better!) It has greatly reduced the STM drains from the pops, which has allowed me to see more of the game.
Quoted from Good-Times:I was initially against these out of principle (respect to the original design) but the longer I own it the closer I am to buying lol. I don’t mind the odd unfair drain, but when you’re in multiball and the ball save timer is on, then it drains three balls in a row, I get the sh!ts hahaaaa.
I felt the same way, but on my perfectly leveled game, I was getting drains from the pops about 30% of the time. It was pure death. I could have backed the tilt way off and done a lot more nudging, but (for me) this gate makes the game more enjoyable. Don't tell Pat Lawlor.
Quoted from BrokenChair:My Willy wonka is showing stuck open switch 76 ?
Quoted from LTG:Page C 106 and C 107 in the manual. Center loop. It's an opto. Check if it popped out of what it is stuck into.
I've had the same issue intermittently for months. Finally just had JJP send me replacement optos. Question:
Do I get at them by removing the Wonka Vision topside?

I figured it out and made a handy step-by-step picture guide on how to replace the optos for switch 76. Click on the image to download.
Quoted from mostater:Nice write up. Be good to have as a key post, too.
Thank you. Hopefully this helps someone down the line. It was a $20 solution and 30 minutes of work to fix something that was an intermittent problem for me for months.
