Are there really special / bespoke callouts and sounds only in the CE edition?
If so what sort of things are we talking about?

I do feel a tad annoyed, nay disappointed that the CE has additional call outs over the LE.
I am / was considering getting a Wonka LE, the CE is just too much to pay for a machine.
What ever happened to JJP just keeping the difference purely cosmetic?
So I may now hold off and get another machine.
Anyone know how many extra call outs there are? Does it make much of a difference?
Quoted from Pinhead1982:I wouldn’t loose sleep over it Julian, come over and have a go on my CE.. it’s not worth the extra £££ for a CE in my opinion..
Thanks mate, I will deffo take you up on that, I played Simon's LE just wondering about missing call-outs.
How are you liking it? Also how does it compare to say DI?
Quoted from Pinhead1982:A few days ago Wonka was having ball issues, drains were taking too long to register, extra balls being kicked out. Reseated cables and it went away for a bit.
Playing Wonka tonight- same thing happened- this time investigated more and when either. Right flipper is pressed, activates Ball Jam and Trough 1 opto. Left flipper also does this.
Put it in switch test and took a video- all switches are active- inc Ball jam. Fire a ball and switches cycle down- but ball Jam stays on.
ltg do I need new set of Trough boards!?[quoted image]
Dave, did you try re-flowing the solder joints on the boards? But also get a set from Phil.
Sound quality-wise I have found WOZ and Hobbit to be very good and no need to enhance or change anything.
However when I got Dialed In I did notice the 'depth' / bass lacking not so much that I made any changes I just put it sown to cabinet changes and not really having a sound score like Hobbit.
Then I got Pirates and the sound was pretty bad (IMHO), it totally lacked depth / bass and was so tinny it was almost offensive to hear!
So I upgraded the sub and popped in a dedicated sub-woofer amp;

It transformed the sound on Pirates.
A week ago I took delivery of Wonka and the sound again was not great just like Pirates, this time I just popped in the dedicated sub-woofer amp and that again made a huge improvement far more immersive and with a great bass to the music, speech and sfx.
So much so today I have ordered another amp for my Dialled In.
Its a shame I have to spend more on a £10k machine but I can not abide poor sound.
Quoted from Rager170:Interesting.. So for Wonka, all you did was add an amp to the existing sub on the bottom of the cabinet?
Yes.
To power the amp I simply snipped the power inside the machine coming from the switch to the transformer and connected the amps power supply in-line so when the machine is off so is the amp.
Then using heavy duty velcro I stuck the amp and its PSU to the base of the cabinet (bu the sub so if I ever fold up the machine its stays in place.
About 30 mins upgrade in total.
Quoted from Rager170:Also, for Wonka, how did you get the signal to the amp? Looks like it shows RCA's as inputs but I thought the subwoofer in the cabinet ran with speaker wire?
For this I snipped the subs speaker wires, left enough wire to connect to the amp and then the speaker wires coming from the game simply stripped them and using electrical tape joined them to a cable that has 2 RCAs to connect into the amp.
I may go back and solder it but hey it works and no-one is going to see it.
Quoted from creech927:I'm trying to figure out the Bluetooth update. I bought the dongle listed in the upgrade info, updated to 1.35 and attempted to pair.
What exactly is the Bluetooth functionality that the game supports? Is it just headphones? Is there a cool ap like Dialed In had that lets me flip the game from my Barcalounger? Will my game randomly Send Noods to my neighbors? Why do I want this?
Its just for headphones, yeah the Dialed In flipper thing is cool, once, but beyond that pointless.
I'd rather listen to the machine without headphones as you can also hear the ball and mechanics.
For me and my JJP pins I will only WiFi them not Bluetooth IMHO pointless.
Quoted from pascal-pinball:Are the high scores gone after the update?
High scores?! Where were going with Wonka 2.0 you don't need your old high scores....
