Quoted from kermit24:How many CE games will be produced? I hope they don’t keep it open ended without a certain number.
Why?
Quoted from Lermods:Installed mirror blades tonight...look great.
That's the first time a picture of mirror blades wowed me. I might have to buy a set.
Quoted from KingPinGames:in the times that is it not grabbing and diverting the ball, would you say the ball is traveling at normal speed down the ramp or faster than normal?
Dang, when I first saw you made a post, and before I read it, I got really excited that you were going to say our LE's were in...
Quoted from txstargazer3:You're right! I got a call from Chris at lunchtime today. He will be delivering my LE tomorrow!!!
He's bringing mine to Minnesota on Monday, can't wait!!!
Quoted from Parzival:Uffff - WONKA fell to 46 on the top 100 in the latest update
Who cares
Quoted from Weedlum:I didn’t have that issue, but it’s an easy fix. The inserts come out with one of those star point screwdrivers and can be put into the correct hole.
Wonderful, thank you. And a big thank you to Chris at Kingpin games for personally delivering my le and helping get it in the house. Great guy!
Game is playing great. Only issue was the captive ball wasn't registering. Checked the switch, working just fine. What the hell? Oh, I guess I should have removed the packing foam in the trough. Oops, my bad. What a great machine!
Quoted from KingPinGames:ha! i did tell you about that foam too. just too excited to play the game.
thanks again!
yes I was. thanks Chris!!!
Quoted from VividPsychosis:Everyone, please call Jenn or post on the support forum/claim about your issues with the diverter. Right now they do not believe us and say only 1 person has had issues.
6 hours in, no problems...
Quoted from romulusx:Wow 50/50 ,I haven’t tracked it that close but yeah out of the pops SDTM sucks
That's pinball man
Quoted from drfrightner:btw come over to my facebook page if you want to see the imagination mode... https://www.facebook.com/larry.frightner
I don't and I won't Facebook, would you make it available here?
Quoted from donkadelic:Considering the movie is just about as German as it gets (soulless, mechanical, boring). And based on a book by a British author, not sure why this matters.
I'm sorry I don't like Wonka as a child serial killer/slave owner. Really insulting to Dahl imo.
Ignore this, don't feed the trolls
Quoted from donkadelic:Any opinion I don't like = troll!
Lol cuz a guy who runs a factory where he murders children along with keeping little people as slaves is totally not that at all.
I'm guessing you're dumb cuz you live in Indiana...
Please don't do this in this thread, this is stupid.
Quoted from zaphX:This is a club thread. Gushing about the game is what it's for. There are plenty of other complaint threads but this one is for owners enjoying their games, right?
ignore him, don't feed the trolls
Quoted from bigd1979:So this just happened..... also collected 3 golden tickets and saw wonka's office mode. The game is so amazing and is just so much fun to shoot. I just keep hitting the start button over and over[quoted image]
well done
Quoted from zaphX:I think 1.25 has a bug with the magnet.
When I shoot the Kid shot empty, it doesn't grab with the magnet, instead dropping it immediately back (and even launching it at times with the tap-tap animation!)
When the diverter puts the ball on the magnet, it sticks just fine.
This appears to be new to 1.25, anyone else?
It's fixed, DL 1.26
Two months in, I have to say this machine is brilliant. When you hit your shots it feels so good, because when you miss your shots, you're severely punished. It makes my STTNG blush (that's a huge compliment). As of now, I'm only half way thru figuring out the rule set, that also makes my STTNG blush (another big compliment).
As far as the pop bumper drains, yeah it does, quite often. That's pinball guys. My advice is staying away from the pops. It's a very fun challenge.
Quoted from dirtbag66:"Other account"?!?
What size tinfoil hat are you wearing right now?
Dude, would you and freaky jackass quit trolling this thread, please...
Quoted from whitey:Wonka Owner’s , thinking of ordering a CE ? You guys love the game . I’m a huge Lawlor fan, I’ve owned every game he’s done , AFG, TZ ES WW DI are some of my favorites. Should I pull the trigger ?
Thanks
It's his masterpiece.
Quoted from konghusker:Those of you that own both Wonka and potc, which one do you like better? I want both, can barely afford one and debating between a huo potc or nib Wonka LE. Thoughts?
Don't discount Dialed In as well. It's every bit as good as those two and you could probably get one at a much cheaper price.
Quoted from TonyScoots:I have finally joined the Club! I ended up going with the LE, fell in love with the CE but budget wasn’t loving it! Very very happy! I absolutely love this pin. I bought it from Chris Meunier from Kingpin Games! Great guy and very friendly and helpful every step of the way.[quoted image]
Looks right at home next to another Lawlor machine...
Quoted from waynetrane:With the ugly, noisy pop sound on start
Even though I know it's coming I still jump every time
Quoted from mtp78:So I got my le sitting next to potc and DI. Wonka seems really dark with lights off.so much I cant follow the ball that well.
The middle and back of the machine is dim. What are you guys using for extra lighting ? I am not a fan of pin stadiums . Anyone ? Thx
To me, it's all part of the design. Deal with it. You can do with your own machines as you want, but I love the challenge.
Quoted from bigd1979:There really was much to miss lol
..
I'd still contact your distributer...
Camera on mine during oomph loompa is way better now. Hopefully it's your settings.
On another note, does anybody understand the graphics on the monitor in regards to the progression of the gum targets and Mike tv?
Also it seems to me the color of the magnet clusters seems to advance as you play, any idea if this is the case or what causes it?
Quoted from Yelobird:Consider watching the #Zaphx video tutorial on Wonka. He does a Perfect zone by zone explanation of the display graphics. Really helped me understand whats going on.
Yes, I've seen it, great video. Had my machine for well over a year and it wasn't until his video that the rules finally made sense to me. Changed the way I play for the better.
The couple things I still don't fully understand the three fans for Mike TV and their significance. The other I don't fully understand is the food that appears in the upper left of the screen for Violet and how it corresponds to the gum targets.
Quoted from TheFamilyArcade:It’s a slight step up from CSI!
Quoted from bemmett:I love CSI so all the better!
Are you two talking about the same CSI that is currently in my basement?
Quoted from SkyKing2301:almost like the color of snozzberries!
Who ever heard of a snozzberry?
Quoted from KevInBuffalo:For those running the new Wonka 2.0 in the open beta
Where/how do I find this?
Quoted from chillme:You need to have an USB wifi adapter installed. Then in settings under network, you can enable the beta downloads/install. Once the beta is enabled, the pin will download and install the beta.
Sweet, thank you
After playing mine for almost two years, my highest score was ~7,000,000. First game with the Beta, ~19,000,000, three golden tickets and I had a ton of fun. For those players who are not great players, such as myself, this new code is awesome. There is alot more video synced up with the audio and the magnets and shaker are much more involved in gameplay in a very good way.
Well done JJP!!!
Quoted from Rager170:It sounds like they just made the game easier to score?
Even the top players on here seem to be around the 10mm mark.. JJP games dont score as high as other manufacturers.. which I actually like..
Easier to score yes, but that's not why I enjoyed it so much more. It's being able to get deeper into the game and play with modes that I might rarely get to experience. The rules are deep and complex and to play so many different modes on the same ball was super fun. I don't really care about the score, just used it as an example of how much deeper I got into it. It seems well balanced, now I think I have to relearn the rules because it seems there are many strategies one could use in different situations.
