Quoted from darkryder:

I got it installed guys, thanks. What a killer game! Seems low scoring like WOZ, this thing is kicking my ass like nobody’s business, this game is going to take time to figure out. So much going on in a standard size playfield, wow.[quoted image][quoted image]

Is this the one that was for sale in Pleasanton?

Quoted from mikepmcs:

Full version of my rendition. I made it in tinkercad so it's not an exact replica. I don't know how to design or use other programs so it is what it is. Anyone who wants to make one or send to a print service can do so. It's for non commercial use and free for everyone to use and share. If you remix it please continue to give your improved design away for free.
Here's a picture of the prototype I made some time ago. A translucent pla shows better.

Great File. Firing up the printer now. Where/How did you mount it on your machine? Think I might remix it to break some of it apart for an easier print. If so, I will post the remix to Thingiverse and link to your original design.

Quoted from mikepmcs:

I didn't. The one I put on my game is half of that merged with a plastic cover for the back. It's a few posts prior to this last one on previous page.
Printing it in half did not work for me. It looked bad and didn't match up. I did try it though.
And both of those were done with a .4 nozzle and maybe .16 layer height. It was before I was smart enough to go smaller nozzle and layer height.
If I did it again i'd do a .2 nozzle and .08 layer height. I don't care if it takes 2 days to print. Everything I do is one off and not produced so i'm looking for as smooth as can be.

Mike

I have a friend with a resin printer. I might see what he can do with it. Thanks

Quoted from darkryder:

Today I installed the Hallmark 2017 Wonka Christmas ornament, Mezel chocolate bars and ModCouple good/bad egg and chocolate falls mods. I still have the Charlie burp tube of danger mod to install if I can find a place for it. The playfield is crazy busy, I think I'm definitely done adding toys to this game now, lol. Only other thing I want to do is adding some bass to the game...perhaps a Pinwoofer system is next.

If you dont need the rule card, unscrew that and show all of Mr. Wonka

Quoted from mikepmcs:

Is the metal arm roller still attached to the arm which attaches to the little black switch? See pic. If it's gone that's your problem.
I can't tell by these pictures.
If it is......slide the glass off and try to operate the switch manually. (the metal arm with the roller on the end) Operate it by itself and see if its stuck or triggers at all. There is a known issue(with a few quick fixes) with these getting stuck on top of the flat metal but this is the first i've heard of it actually being broken. I'm wondering if it has compromised the switch over time and either bent the arm or broken it or something but start there.
[quoted image]

If you have access to a 3d printer, I recommend this part created by a pinsider (Mikepmcs). Great file and just snaps into place. Here is the link on Thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4675550

Quoted from TheFamilyArcade:

Question about the big LCD. I see people posting pictures with rich blue backgrounds, or purple, etc. usually my background colors are brownish. With some purple here and there, mostly for the main high scores.
Is there a setting for this?

I have this installed. Plugged into open USB in the backbox. Two of the strips are under the back portion and I originally just left the other two loose in the body. Just the other day, I moved the two remaining strips to behind the mushrooms. Really cool effect. If you turn on the "color changing to music" feature, the mushrooms flash at you. My wife asked for the auto save “don’t move” time to be increased. I couldn’t find it in the menu.

Quoted from Phbooms:

On the SE the virtual lock is carried over to next game even after being powered off. Just played mine and only had to lock one ball to start it when I locked two yesterday. I remembered it carrying over before when I read your post but had to make sure before I posted.

FYI, I was looking through the settings and you can make the ball lock NOT carry over if you want. I assume this is part of the tournament mode settings as to not give one player an advantage.

Just updated to 1.38 yesterday, got wifi dongle, connected to network, opted in to Beta and tried to download Beta 5. I got a "failure to verify" and it is still on 1.38. Any suggestions other than just try again? Also, when it starts up with Beta, obviously it will indicate in the startup script, right? Can someone post a picture of what the start up script looks like with Beta running?

FYI, I love this game and really excited to try the Super Super Super Skill Shot (combo ramps then the scoop).

Quoted from LTG:

No better answer than try again. Keep coin door closed.
LTG : )

Got a verified download. Powered off machine and powered on, but still ran 1.38.. suggestions?

#9204 2 years ago
Quoted from Mrsiyufy:

Did you manually power it off or did the machine do it on its own?

Manually did it. Is it supposed to reset automatically after complete

Quoted from Mrsiyufy:

Did you manually power it off or did the machine do it on its own?

Got to 100% verified and back to this screen.

Is your coin door closed ?

Yes. Kept coin door closed. After it ended and came back to the screen above, I stepped away for about 15 minutes and came back to this. I will start over and try one last time before reaching out to tech support. Is it possible to do it via usb?

Quoted from LTG:

I see on your one screen you have 1.38 in your game.
Then you have to set up in Network the beta stuff, accept terms, etc.
LTG : )

I did all of that already, Have the red "yes" next to Beta. Wi-Fi is working too

#9216 2 years ago

Appreciate the help. Sorry for hijacking the thread with my issues. Just emailed beta support

Is there a way to adjust the spinner? For some reason mine doesn’t rip like it should! I noticed from my previous Wonka and from videos that this thing rips. My CE only rips slowly! Any suggestions

Give it a little lube. I use this.... it will then RIP

Anyone make under cabinet LED lighting (diy) for their games? Got lots of various voltage strips lying around.

Quoted from sirlonzelot:

Ok found them, really not noticeable . But the back of the machine and the middle of the Mainplayfield are really dark compared to my other machines.

I bought these and plugged them right into an empty USB port in the head. Put two under the head in the back to light up the back of the playfield. Did wonders. Then I put the other two to the left and right of the actual camera to light up the mushroom on the backglass. Really nice. Also, if you want to go full psychedelic mode, you can make them change color to sound. FYI, the IR remote works through the backglass.

It shouldn't be THAT bad. I would make sure the audio cable is well seated in the motherboard (behind the monitor.)

I had no sound when I got mine last year. It was a disconnected audio cable.

Yep, super jets on a multiball is fantastic for points! I love it when that happens.
I'm still chasing that elusive 5 golden ticket game. I would have given up a long time ago trying to get that if the journey wasn't so damn fun!!

So fun. Got to Pure Imagination running the newer code. So much fun.

I finally did a video on my Willy Wonka Pinball lighting that I did myself to add more light onto the playfield.
https://youtube.com/live/vqFjHSXbQjU
I can do a different one if people want more details. I still have to finish redoing the wiring, but it works 100%.

Really cool. Would love to see it with the game on.

Only if you volunteer to move them safely from Frisco TX to Los Gatos CA, and get them up/down the myriad of stairs at the new place!

Los Gatos, CA - You will need to make your way to The Flipper Room on Concord, CA. They have a Wonka and about 40 others really well maintained machines. I am a league player there.
