Quoted from Meri-cah:

Just ordered a brand new LE. Shipping tomorrow and hope to have it next week. Game looks pretty amazing and it will go well with my current line up.
Looking forward to joining the club. I’ve been in the hobby and work on/refurbish/rebuild old machines along with enjoy new ones.
Any tips or tricks are appreciated. Thanks all!

Did the same, but the storm slowed shipping pick up. Either way excited to join the Chocolate Factory club soon.

Quoted from Rjbdmdmd:

prentice look at these.

Usually happens as the post loosen. Gotta check every three days of playing and tighten posts. Thread locker may work.

Its what was noticed on JJP G&R.

Quoted from PlayPin:

That's interesting. I figured it would be from over tightening. How do the washers prevent pooling if cause is posts getting loose? Maybe as someone asked pooling is just hidden under the washers. Sorry, I bet some of the long time WW owners are tired of this topic.

But every last chipping on my G&R was because of post loosening.
Also, when I asked JJP for a torque specification the answer resembled there isnt one. Can be from that too, sure. But probably not for the factory that way.

Washers may 1) call for a longer screw for the post 2) help keep the factory spec “stable” longer. - meaning the problems shows after years 3) help distribute (soften) the movement enough for the bands to stretch enough preventing one root cause of the problem 4) a combo 5) something my dumb a$$ didnt think of in the 30 sec to think actuarially cross-referenced through science (physics & chemistry (plastic field) in this case).

Quoted from jackd104:

Has anyone noticed WW chewing up pinballs comparatively faster than other games? After 100 games or so the balls are rougher than many hundreds of games in other machines. Same type of balls (standard balls from Marco or pinball life). Not really complaining Just finding this curious. I’ve changed balls about five times ina month. Here’s a pic like I said can’t be more than 100 games[quoted image]

AIQ Premium & Primus (like) eats pinballs.

Quoted from jackd104:

Loose screws seems to be a recurring theme. Is this common with Nib games? Or is it a JJP or ww thing? Ww was my first nib so it’s an honest unloaded question.

Something…e-clip, spring, screw…etc. seems to happen to all of them.
at least for me parts seem to end up on the speaker magnet

#10928 2 years ago
Quoted from SuperMas77:

Practice nudging. If you get good at nudging, you'll start to score on Wonka.

nudgin is to pinball as rubbin is to racing

Should this ball have cleared after the last ball drained?

No, it only clears when you power cycle the machine unless you change the settings.

Copy. Nifty ball stealing feature.

Please, run a Wonkavador test. In the menu under device tests. When the start button is pushed does the pinball launched get diverted and into the super lock on your machine?

Turned out to be a broken plastic fastener for the opto at the first ball lock of the super lock. secured with some ingenuity and lock is working again.

Has anyone's shooter rod hit the autoplunge? And how did you fix it?

#11185 2 years ago
Quoted from zaphX:

3 screws for the shooter assembly, loosen and adjust so it's hitting the ball center. Confirm the autoplunger forks don't jump when you plunge.

Not perfect but far better. Thanks. Ill try again with the new shooter rod.

#11192 2 years ago
Quoted from zaphX:

If you have an aftermarket shooter rod, skull mod etc I believe you'll need a shorter external spring.

Nope. Modelvisionary (Super Skill Shot Shooters) was dead on. Great product. Highly recommend.

Quoted from Spatacuulous:

So all the screws are tight and I took a look in the settings even though I was never in there before and everything looks good to me. I played today and it’s still doing the same thing. Will not send balls up into the wonkavator because they are not diverted to begin with. I tested the diverter coil manually and it works just fine as does the VUK. Anyone have any suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks - Frank[quoted image]

Its using virtual locks because something is out of wack. It was a series of problems of this machine.

The green squares mean a ball is on that position. In the pic shared, were any pinballs in the first lock and the VUK lock? Is the green lock light on the Wonkavator on (on the playfield would be the bottom one)?

Bet an opto on the far left fell off. See pics. Notice the small black half circle with two wires on the long end? Used electrical tape to hold it up.

Start there and report.

Nov 2021
It happens but not alllllllll the time. 3ish out of ten. Just refer it as being Lawlored.

Quoted from kempsuk:

Hi Pinside WW Owners
I used to own a WW LE, and kinda miss it... thinking about getting back in the club. My WW used to come out of the Pops and go SDTM. Do many of you still find this, was there a fix in code (not sure you can fix this in code) for this... or just suck it up and play better haha .
Thoughts on this?
Thank you

Quoted from allsportdvd:

I'd like to know if there is a fix of some kind for this too

Quoted from hiker2099:

Mine is of the newest batch, mine does not do this often

Quoted from jackd104:

Ditto. And ditto newest batch (nov 2021)

Quoted from arcyallen:

Does anyone have any insight to the ball getting kicked back out when you shoot the Oompa Loompa feature? It's the left shot under the Wonkavision. The ball goes in, and more often than not slowly rolls back out again. The flag appears to be working properly in test mode, it's not dragging, moves freely by hand and I have videos and pics if it's helpful. JJP was intermittent and is now silent about what the problem is. Their tech support has been pretty good so far, but now I'm starting to see some "slippage".

Like phill2cb sometimes its drops back sometimes goes into the super lock. Either way i think its designed to come back one way or another.

#12195 1 year ago
Quoted from phill2cb:

Does anyone know what the four rectangle lights leading up to the camera ramp signify? I’ve seen it do different light combos like 1 red and the other 3 off, 1 red 2 off and then 1 green, etc. No idea what it means though.

Know ive finished “MikeTV” (cyan) and its one if the shots signified there, but you are right the lights do seem to build. Particularly red. Skill shot value?

And what do the magnate light colors signify?

#12196 1 year ago
Quoted from gorditas:

I had a heater of a first ball. I thought for sure I was going to set a new high score.
Whole day wasted! (Not really. What an amazing machine this is)
[quoted image]

Yea. The way the multiball stacks/chains together makes this game. Seems like we both just need more jackpots

I do think the full set “as standard” Hotrail would go on Wonka. Love JJP to code it & sell a Hotrail kit for the upgrade.
