Do we know what the differences of LE- CE are?

How many CE of Dialled In and POTC?

#224 5 years ago

Did I see the Ompa limps has a little flash light in his hand that flashes?

#225 5 years ago

I’m in on an LE- but I want to know more on the CE-

Sparkly Playfield - want to see that, not too fussed about the shooter- it will be copied.

The Apron sounds interesting- Backglass-
There is a HUGE screen in the middle of it- not bothered on that one.

What doe the *More surprises entail!!?

My Wonka LE is being shipped in couple of weeks.
Not been keeping up with this thread lately. What’s people’s opinion on the game?

#3026 4 years ago

So got an LE on way (3 weeks or so) but distributor also has an CE... what should I do!

Is it worth the £3K price increase!

#3032 4 years ago

Does anyone have a Video of these sparkle playfields?

#3140 4 years ago

Anyone got their CE yet?

#3518 4 years ago

My WONKA CE was delivered Tuesday- unboxed this morning.

Couple of questions: Anyone having issues with loud transformer?

Also - in the description of the CE - what is the RED most secret machine? Should this be powder coated red?

Right now I can’t see any difference between CE, LE & SE editions of the secret machine?

Hi All

Was playing Wonka, first time I lite the Super Lock. - No balls in lock.
Make the spinner shot - ball is kicked up, lock ball 1 animation- ball rolls down and then released straight away!?

Anyone else have this? I will look at it tomorrow, but just checking to see if anyone else has had this problem?

Thanks

Quoted from slippifishi:

There is an adjustment in the menu that can affect behaviour of the super lock, shared vs virtual, though I was under the impression the default behaviour was shared so the balls should remain locked - they do in mine and I haven't changed the settings. Do they roll straight through, or does it lock the ball and then release?

The lock released the ball. Will have a look in settings. Thanks Slippi

Hi All

My buddy got his LE - today turned it on and nothing- no screen or lights - boards look OK- no fuses gone.. LTG could use your expertise on this one

Lights are all on.

How do you kick-start the PC?

Thanks

Thanks game now working.

Not sure what board it is as not there, will ask thanks for the help

Quoted from Riffrider:

Hey folks. I have a Wonka LE. It seems that when I have 1 ball locked in the wonkavator and the game ends the ball does not release and carries over to the next game counting as a locked ball. Shutting the game down will cause the ball to release on restart. Wonkavator working normal in game play. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I think this is what it’s meant to do- the ball lock is “shared” and allows other players to steal the multiball.

When the game is turned off, it resets the multiball

Quoted from BigSilverPin:

I've been having this problem for a month or two. Trying to get to the bottom of it with Butch at JJP, so far no luck. It can happen for me when any of the 3 balls "lock" it pauses for a second or two then drops back into play.

I looked in the settings- The lock was on Virtual lock.
There are 2 other settings below that, that I don’t know about- LTG do you know what they are?

Quoted from jrawlinson_2000:

I do feel a tad annoyed, nay disappointed that the CE has additional call outs over the LE.
I am / was considering getting a Wonka LE, the CE is just too much to pay for a machine.
What ever happened to JJP just keeping the difference purely cosmetic?
So I may now hold off and get another machine.
Anyone know how many extra call outs there are? Does it make much of a difference?

I wouldn’t loose sleep over it Julian, come over and have a go on my CE.. it’s not worth the extra £££ for a CE in my opinion..

Do we know if CE owners get a printed Manual?

Thanks

#3940 4 years ago

A few days ago Wonka was having ball issues, drains were taking too long to register, extra balls being kicked out. Reseated cables and it went away for a bit.
Playing Wonka tonight- same thing happened- this time investigated more and when either. Right flipper is pressed, activates Ball Jam and Trough 1 opto. Left flipper also does this.

Put it in switch test and took a video- all switches are active- inc Ball jam. Fire a ball and switches cycle down- but ball Jam stays on.

LTG do I need new set of Trough boards!?

Still not had a definitive answer to the Wonka CE owners manual - will they get one..

I’m looking to get a few printed if the answer is no... LTG who do I need to contact at JJP to find out.

#4007 4 years ago

Is the manual on JJP site not complete?

Hi,

My Left speaker on my Wonka CE#189 also sounds a bit off.

Please let me know if a new speaker resolves the issue

Does anyone know if the WONKA Manual is now completed?

I’m going to get a couple printed the same as the D.I Manual but don’t want to get one printed until it is complete.

Maybe @ltg?

Thanks

Hi All
Couple of things with my Wonka CE-

First- the left loop
When coming out of the pop bumpers the ball rattles around, hits the metal Gobstopper shield on right, bounces over to the left ball guide and that puts it on a direct SDTM trajectory nothing I can do.. really taking the fun out of the game.
Anyone else had this..

2nd - left speaker- sometimes OK, then goes “Tinney” and grainy.
I have heard of this problem before, I’ve taken a look inside the backbox, To try and trace the wires - do I need to take the metal shield off the top part, as that’s where the go..

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

#6188 3 years ago

Or Opto board for trough is faulty- my CE did this- was bad solider joint- Reflowed - fixed it

#6189 3 years ago

I’ve not really got to grips with my CE.. I haven’t learnt the rules and have only managed to get scores just over 1 mil!

Then comes along G&R... Wonka was up for the block.. but now.. fuck it.. I’m keeping it.. and getting G&RLE.. the wife’s not gonna be happy...

#6191 3 years ago

Yeah.. I shy away from watching full tutorials as I want to experience and and see the animations..

Will take time to read up and learn them.

#6274 3 years ago

I think the playfield pooling has got to be down to Posts being screwed in too tight whilst playfield clear is still “soft”.. it takes weeks /months for a clear to cure properly.

How long are playfields left on the rack for before being used.. a week maybe..?

Chemicals that were used back in the day are no longer legal to use.. I wonder if Ron Kruzman uses the same clear formula as the playfield manufacturers use.. doubt it

Hey All
Not installed 2.0 yet, how does it play?

I’m thinking of selling my CE to make room
For Godzilla..

But I’m not sure..

#9497 2 years ago

Hi All
I have tried to update to 2.0 but machine fails to verify download

Tried Delta and full update

Tried via Internet and USB fails within seconds

Any suggestions?

Thanks

#9502 2 years ago
Quoted from jester523:

Perhaps a stupid question, but did you follow these install instructions? https://marketing.jerseyjackpinball.com/general/install-full/ Also, what size is your USB stick? I can't remember exactly, but I thought I tried a really large one and had issues, so I bought a smaller one.
What version are you on now? And what error message are you getting?

Hey. Yup, used USB that had previously used to update all my JJP games. Tried both installs.

Trying again now.. and code update via Internet assays 2.01 now

image (resized).jpgimage (resized).jpg
#9505 2 years ago

My CE was on 1.34 before trying to update it.

I did try and update a while ago when 2.0 first came out but it didn’t work then either..

Hopefully 2.01 will go through..

#9508 2 years ago

Hi Keefer
Update failed again.

Can you help me?

#9509 2 years ago

This. Is what I have on my USB.

image (resized).jpgimage (resized).jpg

How do you get into the Menu to select Beta code? I remember doing it a while back but can’t find it now. Maybe my settings are wrong in that?

#9518 2 years ago

Figured out what was wrong with the download- USB issue when formatting.

Played a few games on it. Was definitely easier. And the WonkaTania Mania screen.. Wow!

Felt a little sick afterwards tho. .
