Want to know if you owner like the game?
Did it me or exceeded your expectations?

Not the issues just game play?
Is it Deep enough?
Munster I bought was boring as hell so sold it after 6 months.

I have WOZ and HOBBIT both are fantastic.
Please info so I can make a LE Wonka decision.

Thanks in advance

#925 4 years ago
Quoted from toyotaboy:

Love it.. one of lawlor's greatest games. Plenty deep for me, there's so many multiballs, bonuses and multipliers. Everything is very clear how to progress, but not to say it's easy. The the gamerule map they made is so helpful[quoted image]

Thanks
How would you compare to the other JJP
On a 1 to 10
WOZ being the 10?

#1033 4 years ago
Quoted from NathanN:

Finally a Wonka Review!!!

Thank you for posting review.
Most don't take the time.
Jersey Jack pinball machines are amazing!
Very Excited on LE I'm waiting for.

#1115 4 years ago
Quoted from Lermods:

Installed mirror blades tonight...look great.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Fit right in to you W section of pinballs!

1 week later
#1418 4 years ago

Just paid in full on my Le
Should be a blast!

#1477 4 years ago

I believe mirror blades would be the way to go on this pinball machine.

#1519 4 years ago
Quoted from Weedlum:

Just got a phone call from my distributor. My LE will be arriving on Tuesday. This is my first JJP game. I can’t wait.

Man are you going to be blown away with there quality!
Enjoy the Pin.
Then get another Jersey Jack.
I've been collecting since 2003 and gone through like 70 titles of all companies.
Believe me Jersey is by far the best manufacturer.

#1561 4 years ago
Quoted from VividPsychosis:

Y’all got some catching up to do. Only night 1, scores are looking good
Finishing installing all mods and pinstadiums. Got the game entirely working minus diverter.
Pics are scores, and pinstadiums on and off in my game room with no lights on.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

I sometimes feel pinstadium takes away from flashers and over all light show.
What are your thought with them on Wonka?
Thanks for any input

I'm assuming it the regual $279 pinstadium correct?
Hope so as I just ordered it.
Lol

Had them on Musters and looked great trouble was Musters was boring as all hell.
(:
That's why I sold it

#1580 4 years ago
Quoted from Blackzarak:

I adjusted the post from factory settings and it makes the game very forgiving. Added the extra right post and lower the left post and it gives you a fighting chance might just leave it. Also added mirror blades, some modes and oompah loops, and white flippers its starting to look good.[quoted image]
[quoted image][quoted image]

Who did you order mirror blades from?
Are they thin enough so you can raise and lower playfield without scratching or getting hung up?
Thanks in advance for any info.
I like all the oomph loomps just wish they were each slightly different instead of triplets.
Looks great though.

Quoted from drfrightner:

I got my Wonka and set it up... I played this game at Midwest Gaming Classic and I have to say in the home environment this game is so much better. I just want to say that Jersey Jack Pinball is the best pinball company ever for the collector! This game is a total home run, I'm so excited about this game, there is so much to unpack! I enjoyed the game so much only a few words came to mind here are a few!
1) The game made me feel happy, like a kid again!
2) Jersey Jack is the Disney of Pinball.
This game is just pure magic, thank you Jersey Jack for once again reminding us how thru pinball we can feel so happy to love pinball!
Lastly I wanted to say that the Mod Couple is amazing they're the perfect compliment to Jersey Jack without a doubt! GRAB THIS GAME I might go as far as to say this is the great collector pinball game ever! Again just pure magic![quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

So feeling the way you do about Wonka and looking back now should you have got the CE?

Which mod is you Favorite?

I'm putting Mirror blades because they make Wonka look more Candyful

#1693 4 years ago
Quoted from drfrightner:

You know you have something there mirror blades might be the way to go but I was really hoping for something with the boat on it. I think I might take your advice and buy some mirror blades. The only problem I see with that is the game seems a bit dark near the top of the playfield.
As for which mod I like the most... if you ask me on Pirates I can tell you on Wonka I think they're all good.
Nothing really stands out yet because I just like them all.

I ordered pinstadium lighting to take care of that problem and they have assured me I won't have any reflective issues with mirror blades.

I'm not going to hook up flashers on them just GI because I don't want to interrupt the awesome light shows

#1728 4 years ago
Quoted from jfrazie:

Anyone know when the second round of SEs are going to start shipping? Are CEs now on the line?
Still on the list waiting and I am getting impatient!

LE is on the line still

#1786 4 years ago
Quoted from Parzival:

Uffff - WONKA fell to 46 on the top 100 in the latest update

That's because some nasty little Troll insiders went and red flagged all the good reviews.
Including mine. Lol
But who cares as I loves the Wonka!

#1920 4 years ago
Quoted from JediPimp:

Can anyone confirm what the new sounds and videos are included in this code update 1.10. Is it major stuff or have you not noticed anything yet?

That all I care about as well

#1921 4 years ago

I just want to hear the bad egg song during game play.

Must have more movie music by far.

#1926 4 years ago
Quoted from zaphX:

It plays when you’re in Veruca’s good egg/bad egg mode.

Have not updated the new code so I am assuming you're telling me with new code the song actually plays now?
With her singing?
Not just background music.

#1976 4 years ago

I'm to tired to read back but can someone shed light on my none spinning gobstoper?
Worked for 1 day only.

Each day I get a new error on something different but mostly switch tweaking.

Bloody Great Pin though
(:

#2032 4 years ago
Quoted from JediPimp:

Any update on the new code? Is the Diverter test any good? Is there new sound and video? Has gameplay changed at all?

I noticed very little in voice and zero on movie clips.

I'm sure they will keep adjusting and adding to the codes.
Hoping to get more songs out of those little orange fellas.

#2056 4 years ago

#2057 4 years ago

Oh and a none spinning Gobstopper after day 1

Is this my last JJP?

Hell no

That why Collectors have multiple pins!

JP2 do next week.

#2066 4 years ago

How am I supposed believe anything you say?

Do you parents know you go around wearing a Bra on your head?

#2071 4 years ago
Quoted from ktownhero:

Yeah despite all of the bitching and moaning about clear coat and what not, these games are truly a league above what Stern is putting out from a pure design and gameplay perspective.

In most cases but Jurassic looks like a real winner.
I say this having 3 JJP in my collection

#2085 4 years ago
Quoted from ktownhero:

Yeah Keith Elwin is 2/2 on unique and fun layouts. JP2 still has a cheap feeling to it though, I played it a bit at ReplayFX. It is very good though, don't get me wrong. Just something about JJP games that gives more of that Bally/Williams era feel that I love. Most Stern machines as of late just all feel very similar and uninspiring with the notable exceptions of Maiden and JP2.

Couldn't agree with you more.
Sterns feels like a Dataeast and Jersey Jack like Williams.

Sadly as of right now Stern wins for reliability in a huge way.
Christ my WOZ hasn't worked properly for years and don't even get me started on Wonka.

All that being said in Love JJP machines and will continue to purchase them as long as I can afford to.

Quoted from CafeOne:

2 days old, trough error - kept ejecting balls into play. Switch 006 flaky in switch test (flippers/vibration were activating it sporadically) , reflowed everything. Seems to be okay now. Talked to Steve Z at tech support, new optos on the way. Great support JJP!

Yep me too

#2118 4 years ago

JJP is doing what they can there technician support has been nothing but awesome.

Working out some beginning Wonka issues.
When everything is ironed out we will all have a amazing playing pinball machines.

Steve helped me for over an hour on the phone. He's a great asset.

Thank you Jersey Jack!

#2121 4 years ago
Quoted from romulusx:

Never mind he’s a waste of time

Yep some folks just don't get it.
Lol
Fine art like our Wonka's take time to develop.

Got mine from Zach as well.
He was mega fast to address issues.
He's a great asset to our pinball community.
Definitely buy from Flipnout Pinball you won't regret it!

#2133 4 years ago
Quoted from arcadem:

I have not heard of any play field problems with AP games. My Oktoberfest game has the.best play field of any of my collection of 6 relatively new games.

Yep Houdini no issues and a blast to own and play.

Quoted from bigd1979:

So this just happened..... also collected 3 golden tickets and saw wonka's office mode. The game is so amazing and is just so much fun to shoot. I just keep hitting the start button over and over[quoted image]

Now that's a Sweet score!

I'd play more but I'm stuck on hitting that JP2 over and over but soon I'll return to my beautiful Wonka

#2643 4 years ago
Quoted from dendoc:

Just in case you want a laugh- our latest offering in Wonka. Love this game - but it still kicks our ass!

Thanks for sharing.
I'll watch more when I get the time.
Many things I'm learning about my Wonka.

Thanks again to both of you!
