Collecting golden tickets - does anyone have a 'simple' description of what's required to collect golden tickets?

I know the rule sheet and follow it for
Gumball, Factory tour, Gobstopper golden tickets.

Wonkavator - what do you have to do to complete this and get golden ticket?

Kid multiball - you collect a number of jackpots, correct?

Also are the tickets on the playfield specific to certain rewards? i.e. is the gumball golden ticket 'always' the ticket on the left? Or do they just build from left to right with the top ticket always being the last awarded?

I have gotten 4 tickets twice but neither time I knew what ticket I had left to get. Hence my question

Surprised no one has posted about receiving a new run game?

What say you?

I'm Jealous. I am in for one, but I don't know when it will come in. I saw earlier in the forum that people were getting some soon, I wish I was one of them.

#9804 2 years ago

I have been told it shipped but no confirmation from shipping company yet.

Info on which tickets you have (and what you need to finish the tickets) is available if you cradle the ball and hold it a while to go through the info screens. Sometimes it's hard to read everything before it moves to the next screen though.

Wonkavator - you need two Super Wonkavator jackpots (as of recent code, early code required 3)
Kid Multiball - you need at least one of each kid's jackpots, plus a double and a super jackpot

I'm not sure if the tickets always appear in the same order, I always pull up the info screen if I've lost track and need to remember what's left.

Same boat as you

I'm guessing it will be sometime next week. Thursday?

Mine is sitting in the box. Can't set it up until I get some help. I'll post pics when I get it going.

I received a new run game this week. Anything anyone wants to know? I have done zero mods to it.

Congrats, I can't wait to get mine. The little kid in me is so impatient.

#9811 2 years ago

scanned the posts and did not see the answer. Question for anyone who replaced a broken wonka vision camera, did yours come with the little led light in the statue or did you swap it over? If you swapped it over how did you do it? I would assume it has a connector end to plug in but the hole in the camera seems awfully tiny to fit a connector through it

#9812 2 years ago

Lets see some pics of the playfield! Did they infact washer under star posts?

#9813 2 years ago

Yes we are all praying for a run of perfect playfields!

I have a preorder for a NIB LE that will arrive in Q1 next year
Before it arrives I’d like to have some parts/mods ready to go
Do I need to put washers under a large amount of posts like I did with GNR?
Any other must haves?

I think the ler mods wonkavator and for me pinstadiums really added to the game. And the wifi dongle if the new ones don't come already wifi connected.

It’s looking like new games are coming with washer under the sling posts. Don’t see washers other places so up to you if you want to add elsewhere.

Spotlights above the slings (or pin stadium lights) are a must as the bottom of playfield is very dark otherwise.

I got word mine could ship tomorrow! I am pumped.

Tracking says I should have it by Friday or Monday.

Wonka landed this afternoon… won’t have a chance to set up for a while, but the box/packing job appears to be A+

Fantastic. You guys that are about to unbox are in for a treat. I snagged a SE early this year NIB and felt like a kid strolling into the Magic Kingdom for the first time when I opened it up. The game truly is magical. I will never sell the game unless I upgrade down the road to a LE or CE.

#9824 2 years ago

Cracked the box open and pulled the placard... it says LE #357.

Did JJP only build 300-350ish in the original Wonka LE run??

No, many more than that; game numbers are in no particular order. Obviously 357 just wasn't used during the first run so it was available.

Ah, ok. I assumed that was the case, but the low number threw me off. Thanks for chiming in!

#9827 2 years ago

My experience was that the black washers did not help with the pooling and on one of my slings actually started to cause an issue. I had very minimal pooling on my slings but opted to add the PETG washers and iron them out no issue since. Just FYI for new buyers I would check under those washers regularly - I was checking everyday after install.

Finally got around to installing the LE topper on my CE. I absolutely love this topper and thinks it looks great. I’m keeping my CE topper and might mix it up but for now, chocolate River ftw

Interesting contrast... one of the most family friendly themes of all-time, next to one of the most family unfriendly themes of all time!

Jurassic Park isn't that family unfriendly lol

On a more serious note though, where can you buy the LE Topper?

They need more movies like that. You know, to show how spoiled and bratty kids are and how NOT to behave...

I called Sutton Transport and they said they will be dropping off the game in Jacksonville on Monday, and then a company called Clear Lane will be delivering the game to my house next Thursday or Friday.

Seems odd and slow but at least I have an ETA

Hi guys so last night I got a score of about 10,000,000. I went through all the modes, won wonka office and collected 3/5 golden tickets. Once I played the last mode, they all "reset", like all the lights went off and I think I had to play the modes all over again? Does that mean its keeps repeating until I complete all 5 golden tickets?
Thanks

Its hard to make an argument for a better 4 game collection than those shown.

Did you collect the factory mode golden ticket? Once you do, all of the factory modes (inventing room, welcome to the factory, etc.) reset and you can do them again. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe once you do all the factory modes you will still have to hit a shot in the wonkavision to collect the ticket. You still should have seen the golden tickets you earned but the lights for the modes do go off after you collect and you can repeat them. Always good in case you didn't collect Veruca or Charlie on the Kid Multi-ball since Golden Egg Room and Fizzy Lifting Drink are the only modes to unlock them.

So once I collect all 5 golden tickets, complete all factory modes, and collect all kids for kid multi ball, then is the final wizard lit activated?
and that is the end of the game?
Thanks

Once you collect all Gobstopper Jackpots, Wonkavator jackpots, Kid Jackpots, all factory modes and the gumball ticket then you will get the final wizard mode, Pure Imagination. After all are collected the light blinking (center loop left of the Wonkavision scoop shot) for pure imagination will be available. Hit that and be ready to scream like a teenage girl. I've only done it once, but it was so dang satisfying. After Pure Imagination the game will restart and you repeat the cycle. The Wonkavator golden ticket is the toughest for me to collect by far and the easiest besides the Gumball ticket for me is the Gobstopper ticket. You'll get it Mo!

I'm getting some rejects from strong shots up the right ramp. Almost like the ball hits something at the top of the ramp and comes screaming back. Can anyone see anything unusual here? I wondered if the ball was getting some air-time and hitting the plastic protector. Thanks for any help.

You guessed it right with the air time and hitting the plastic protector. The plastic protector was added because balls kept catching air off that ramp and breaking the camera. You could try turning down the left flipper strength if it's happening regularly.
