I don't understand why people would sell them in the first place, but good luck to all.

They didn't. The games weren't selling, so Williams decided to try promoting them as a special run, and created and sent the collector's plates out to the distributors to give away with the games. Supposedly, most distributors didn't get the right numbers, or had already sold the machines and didn't follow up, or didn't match the right numbers with the right machines, etc. So, it wasn't like half of the original CC people got them and decided to sell them on eBay or something, they just didn't get them to begin with.

That is so sad. But now I am taking back my thread and humbly i am issuing an alert for my missing 812. He needs his medicine and and is not very good with strangers. Tell him we love him and miss him very much and his mama says come home on mothers day. Tell him uncle Bart is here.

i bet a skilled engraver could turn that seven into an eight. Check with local throphy shops.

#21 10 years ago

Everyone that wants a certain number.....what would you pay for one that matched your machines number??

#22 10 years ago

Plaques usually run 150-300. The matching is karma s far. Most will trade for nothing or a nominal fee.

#23 10 years ago

Yes, most will trade for nothing that is what I have done in the past. But the ones I have bought I have paid between $300-$400 for them with shipping.

#24 10 years ago

I have #512. I need #868.

#25 10 years ago

BTW, how did all of you that actually have plaques get them?

#41 7 years ago

Looks like these gentlemen have what you are looking for .
They say those are originals but you can select the language and look if your number is in their stock .

#42 7 years ago

I think there is a guy in Germany that will magically have any serial number plaque in stock you want.

#43 7 years ago

Oops i meant you can select the language on their website not on the plaque

#44 7 years ago

I have plaque #486, need plaque #160.

Quoted from vid1900:

Yes, I have been in contact with Stefan Hoppe at Vegas Store (Germany) who bought them from the European distributor at the time. For some reason superfluxshop.de advertise/sell the same set of plaques. And, no, my serial number (#394) is not among them. Even though I have the money to spare, the value of the item doesn't match a price of 250 EUR (340 USD), especially when I can't get my actual serial number.

Funny thing though, when I asked for a "better" price from Stefan, he said I could have #304 for 249.99 EUR "special price today only" so I guess the pricing strategy is rather rigid. I don't know at what price he bought them for but I guess the business activity around them aren't overwhelming.

#47 7 years ago

Looking for #189 if anyone has it thanks

#48 7 years ago

Have 774

#50 7 years ago
Quoted from CaptainNeo:

WTF?
I have #1342 and looking for 69.

I assume you mean #342 as only the 3 last digits in the serial are used on the plaques. Don't want you on a wild goose chase .
