Look up user Gwaxt72.... (Rob at Rockland Pinball). He was selling a bunch of playfields recently. (Check the Northeast for sale thread as well...he's on there often)

#3 7 years ago

Thanks I will check that out.

#4 7 years ago

Still looking.

I have one that is likely restorable (you can decide)

What is your email that you want photos sent to? feel free to pm it to me.

#6 7 years ago

About to see if I REALLY need 3 or not.

Candidate #1 I can deal with has potential.

Candidate #2 definitely needs a playfield. It has a strange fade, broken shooter lane, screw pop outs, planking and insert wear.

Candidate 3 needs a good bit of insert work likely text replacement which I never feel is ideal unless no other option.
I can restore if absolutely needed but a better starting platform would be nicer if possible or new would be that much better.

Chris Do u know what happened to the cpr run?

I was waiting for my reservation on that prior to flipping the Bill Davis original I have that has the slight magnet burn that we spoke of but maybe now's the time.

Are all 3 machines spoken for?

Hi Rod
Not sure on the CPR run.
I actually learned not to count on anything in this hobby/business unless I can put my hands on it when I need it years ago and that CPR TAF run just further verifies it for me because I didn't need any playfields at the time but have since had 5 TAFs come in.
I wouldn't have preordered 5 anyway so not a big deal but for me from a business perspective as a service provider preordering parts that are not made yet and you dont even know if you will truly need them is foolish.

I am interested in the playfield I can fix some magnet burn .
These games all have owners as usual
Thanks.

the one I have is not as nice as what you have offered here. Just wanted to let you know since I am not going to pull it out of storage and grab pics since it appears you have plenty of options for nicer ones now.

#16 7 years ago

Restored.... please PM me your e-mail so I can send you pics!

Still open to taking a look at it if you are willing to send pics. I always prefer to start out fresh if possible .

LMAO.... let me just say..... woof!!! I'll change the adjective then... if anyone wants to see the GORGEOUS playfield that didn't meet "mr.king of high end restorations" expectations, feel free to shoot me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll be glad to send the exactly same photos....

Thanks for the effort... chris, isn't it? No offense taken!

I again truly appreciate the effort and dont want to come off like a snob so please post them here so people can see exactly what we are talking about.
You did say beautiful if you are willing to pay so I was expecting something much different .

God you have the best job in the world. 3 Addams family pins just hanging out at your place. So jealous.

#24 7 years ago

I've been looking for a pf harness or populated of for some time now. Good luck

#25 7 years ago

I like the Tuesday chicken wing special at Moes but didn't consider this playfield beautiful so I am still looking bump.

Never said it was new, nor "non-rerestorable"... It's not for sale, actually, it looks awesome hangin in my game-room wall, but anyone willing to make and offer + pay about US$ 500.00 shipping from Brazil can private contact me!

Quoted from High_End_Pins:

BTW, you're welcome for the free bump, snob. Watch out for your cholesterol and don't choke with those chicken wings!

If the picture he posted was of the PF in question I wouldn't be pissed at him. You wasted his valuable time as that PF is not even close to what you described. That PF should have been advertised as a decent used PF needing some restoration, at best.

#32 7 years ago

1) The PF is not advertised... where did you see the ad, please?

2) Wow, he wasted his valueable time looking at a few pics... I should quit my job and begin to restore pinball machines...

3) I'm not pissed... why should I be? Pinball to me is just a hobby... believe me or not, I saw this thread and offered my PF in order to be of some help, not to make money.... I love seeing my PF hanging on my game-room wall... a few bucks for selling it won't me make me richer!

How about here -

And here -

And then again here -

And apparently, you don't know anything about Chris as his time is VERY valuable. Top restorer in the world that people pay a crap ton of money to have their games done by him.

Quoted from AlexSMendes:

Sound pretty pissed here (and immature on top of that).

This comment is not warranted. Chris Hutchins (HEP) is always very helpful on this forum whenever he is asked for his opinion on anything pinball related.

Chris is certainly not a snob. If he were a snob he wouldn't take time out from his day to post answers to questions on this forum.

Sorry Chris for derailing your thread but sometimes stupidity needs to be called out.

And PS, according to the PM I got from amendes I like to suck your balls. Please apologizes to your wife for our inappropriate behavior

Too bad gene at IPB isn't around anymore. Sure he could "find one" he had laying around one of his warehouses.

I have a new IPB repro. Registration is a little off around bookcase hole but is excellent around swamp and chair holes. One knot in shooter lane. Very slight twist, easily presses flat with one finger. Clear is nice but not a mile deep like you do. I have no idea what market value on this is. Take a look at pics and let me know what you think.

Chris, how long do you usually let the clear dry before you sand and buff?

#49 7 years ago
Quoted from bam10:

Chris, how long do you usually let the clear dry before you sand and buff?

Usually 1 to 2 weeks.
The clear I use is catalyzed and made for an air dry overnight delivery on automobiles so 1 to 2 weeks is more than enough time as far as sanding and polishing goes.
I actually like to assemble games within this window when possible because there is more flex there during this time.

#50 7 years ago

I really look forward to the day I am able to send you my TAF PF and authorize (read: pay) you to work your incredible magic....!
