Quoted from hlaj78:

Why should distributors get regulars to sell to customers who haven't paid anything yet while those of us who have paid a long time ago would have to wait even longer?

Because the distributors paid up front.

If they reserved and paid for regular WOZ back then, OK. But why would they do that when they could reserve and pay for an LE at $6500? Were regulars $6000?

There is a need to get these on location and most of the standards that are early are for operating.

Again you sure about that??

I don't think the distributors paid up front. I think they committed up front without money. I doubt that gets them put in the queue until they actually sent some money.

I do know that there are distributors that paid for LEs and regs at the same time so they could receive their games at one time. I cannot say that across the board for all JJP distributors.

So I could get a refund, and take my cash into a distro and actually get it sooner...that's what I am hearing, right?

I don't see why not buy you'd be paying more and only be able to get a regular WOZ. Along that line you could jus buy someone out that ordered earlier. Not rocket science.

Soon a standard WOZ will be available from JJP at a decent price. May take a year but it will happen. If he wants to sell them rather then watch everyone else sell them back and fourth down the road he will lower his prices.
