Ok, I read that thread, I will give it a try tomorrow. Everything is unplugged, and out. it is just the base cabinet right now. I just plugged it in to see if the motor worked. Thanks

Ok, the hammer trick is not working on my transformer, I have hit it so hard that there are hammer dents in it now.
So does anyone have a working one and is willing to sell? Williams transformer 15-A-6771. I see them on flee bay, but you never know what you are getting.

I might have one for you. It was in a bin of parts I bought, so it is, as they say...untested. I guess I could solder in a plug and see if it works.
Heavy as hell, so shipping will likely be an arm and a leg - I guess I could see if it might fit in a flat rate box or something.
Can't even think of getting to it until Monday.
