Looking for a collector quality Whirlwind. Ideally would be HEP, Kelly, McCune etc type quality.
Please PM me any offers.

How much does a HEP, Kelly, McCune Wwind sell for?
Quoted from Whysnow:How much does a HEP, Kelly, McCune Wwind sell for?
My guess is $7-8K based on all the parts needed and labor. I kept a spreadsheet of all the parts I needed to buy when I restored my Whirlwind. Over $2200 in parts alone! On a HEP restore you'd also have to add about $4-5K in labor plus the cost of a base game.

Great spreadsheet. Those are the ones that are fun to track but also start to hurt
It amazing me when people think sub 3k is fair for a Wwind with new CPR pf, ramps, and all the goodies. This is something they should refernece to do the math... Base game, plus parts, plus labor... It adds up quickly!
It took 5 trips to see 5 different machines before I finally landed a nice one.
Picked it up in the northern suburbs of Chicago.
I know the feeling, it took me forever to find Whirlwind in decent condition. Whenever they came up they were gone.
Finally I bought one from the Pinball Clinic in PA. If you check their website and see the Diner that's for sale that's how my Whirlwind looked and the things done to get there.
Good Luck, bruce
