Unfortunately, a large percentage of the people who purchased IPB repros reported their holograms turned red soon after installation--and not long thereafter, turned completely black.
A lot of people got burned, while other owners report theirs are still green to this day.
Some theorize the holograms were ruined by a chemical reaction when holograms were left in their original packaging for any length of time--and claim repro holograms either installed immediately, or unbagged, is the difference.
Despite this known flaw, recently buyers were still willing to risk several hundred dollars on them in the hopes theirs might stay green.
But then I spotted following comp on Ebay last week: sale of an IPB reproduction for an astounding $795:
$795 is a mere $70 below what the last NOS Bally-Williams sold for at $865!
It makes no sense: buyer must not have realized his mistake; or just didn't care about the cost.
