I know it's a longshot, but looking for a TX Sector somewhere near zip 10598 (Yorktown Heights, NY). Not looking for CQ; but playfield should have very little to no wear. Let me know what you got. Thanks.

Gerry has a white wood for sale.

#4 5 years ago

Bump - Great game, good luck with your search.

#5 5 years ago

Thanks, guys. Just looking for a regular, old TX. I know they're not common, but they can't be that hard to find, can they?

#7 5 years ago

I owned one 10 years ago and have never seen another for sale.

Very uncommmon, like robo and excalibur plus a few other great John T from that era.

Good luck in your hunt.

Crap. Thanks guys. Here's hoping. I know one Pinsider that has one relatively close to me in pristine condition but he won't give it up. I don't blame him.

Robo is not rare in my house, Thanks Gerry. If I can save up the money over the next week or two I'm buying that TX SECTOR

I even have a spare wad of cash I put aside for it in case that happens. Learned the hard way once that it will come when I'm not ready (aka broke).

Just figured I'd pop back in and see if anyone is sick of their TX Sector yet........

#16 4 years ago

I've got dibs on a TX-Sector or SOF in the south, don't go making any road trips now.

No worries; even if I did find one down there I wouldn't be driving that far and shipping scares me.

Just picked up a nice one off of CL today. Completed my Robowar, Excalibur, Tx Sector trifecta.

#20 4 years ago

Nice. Was it the one in Pemberton? I gave up on CL a while ago. Glad someone is having some luck with it.

You need a Genesis next to those!

Chris,

I actually like that game and wouldn't be opposed to it.

I have a RoboWar, TXSector, and a Genesis. They do go well together.

Braggarts!

... passed on a $500 Robo-War a couple years ago. Ugh. Bad timing.

#26 4 years ago

Never played those other ones. Look like I'll have to give one a try one day.

I actually saw and emailed him about that one too. Sold it on Christmas Eve. A little on the high side as well.

$2499. Too rich for my blood (for a TX Sector anyway).

I have been offered that for mine and turned it down so I guess it is not enough for me

Honestly, no amount would take my TX.

I have also been offered a little more than that...one dollar more to be exact, lol.
I also turned it down.I'll never find another one, much less in the condition of this one.

I brought my TX Sector to the Rocky Mtn Pinball Showdown last year and was asked if I wanted to sell it and when I said no I was asked what my "i don't really want to sell it price" was , I said $3600 and then hoped all night that he did not accept it. He did not and I am very happy. The Game books at $675. I will take 10 if you can find it at that price. It also strangely won "Most Unique in show"

#39 4 years ago

Sold a mint TX Sector in '04 for $650 and was happy to get that much, how times have changed.

I've been after this pin for years, but I'm trying to find the one with the Vitagraph playfield.

Compare the colors - they are much deeper and more brilliant on the Vitagraph, and you are practically guaranteed no insert wear, unless the pin was played to death.

The search continues......
This will be a $3,000 game in 1-2 years.

Truer words have never been spoken on this site. I played TX-Sector at Pinburgh 2012, and spent the next 2.5 years trying to find one. I think Classic Game Room's review of TX-Sector can also be blamed for the popularity of this game.

.

I think you have to pry one from the overseas collectors to obtain one of those. (I'm also looking)

#43 4 years ago

I'm on the buyer train also. Not aggressive in my search, but if I step in shit so be it.

#44 4 years ago

I got a package deal of Dr Who and TX sector for 2000.00 about 3 years ago. Completely restored the DW havent touched the TX yet.....but its coming!!
