I'm not really sure if they do. I was hoping to save a couple of bucks by buying a kit someone didn't install.

I checked the shipping with Pinbits. They're charging $47.64 for standard shipping overseas witch I think is a little excessive for such a small package.

Don't feel bad. I just paid $36 for a 3D translite and keychain from Planetary...and I live in the states! (But that has to be packed special-like.)

Yeah, you're right. I bet the just throw the eli kit in a simple box or a padded envelope and then charge you $50, I've ordered lots of stuff from overseas before and rarely payed this much in shipping, are they meaning to tell me the Eli kit almost costs as much as a color dmd to ship? The shipping for a color dmd is only $9.00 more.

The translites must be packed flat and are oversized packages, hence the expense...

That's what I alluded to with the "packed special-like" part of my post. I wasn't trying to be a dick. Sometimes it just comes naturally.

The kit weighs about the same. So I can see that. The Fiber lighting blocks weight a bit. Good luck

I emailed pinbits directly about the shipping and was told that the online shipping calculator might be broken and that shipping should be $21 overseas. I can live with that. ?

What? Are you asking us? Why don't you decide what you can live with?

Think about how much you spent on the game and how much better the kit will make the game look, most people would probably be able to justify that $21 pretty easy.

Sorry, A question mark snook in there without I saw it, damn phone.
What I meant to say was: "I can live with that!"

I ship a lot overseas. Flat rate padded envolope $32.00 if it will not fit in there $40 easy fo a 1lb box. Whatever shipping cost is add pp fees to it. I dont think they are out of range with that shipping quote.

Okay, turns out it was $21.00 half of the first quote, I'm pretty happy with that

First class tends to get stuck in Miami. But if your not in a rush it does save some money. I had a package to Germany take 5 weeks first class.

5 weeks, that's crazy, almost as long as it takes to get stuff from China. I'm not in a real hurry so maybe it's better to save some money, maybe I get lucky and they'll wizz past Miami.
