    Quoted from TAZ-284:

Soon would be Next week Tuesday-Friday right after the holiday weekend according to ICE.
The family out voted me and we went with USA vs CAN (My choice was MOI). I’m still happy and super excited.
I’m about to order a police escort for the delivery truck to expedite and end my suffering.

Oh yeah I remember now. I cant wait until you get it, I'm excited for you. All versions are awesome so it doesnt matter which one that you get. Smart decision by letting your family pick, that will help keep them interested in it.

    Quoted from SUPERMAXX:

When you get these boxes be prepared to be amazed when opening— also check boxes make sure no damage done I made truck guy wait until I checked everything cause bottom box with base in it was buckled at bottom .... no issue though .... it’s just that top box has rink in it and is heavier than bottom base box ...
    [quoted image]

Those boxes are bigger than what you anticipated arent they?

We want pictures today sometime after you get it all set up. It comes with instructions but theres a couple of good YouTube videos that are helpful with setting it up. The only problem is they are for setting up older versions than what you have so they may not be exactly the same as your game but they still help. Congratulations and have fun SUPERMAXX!!

So I'm in the club! - I was able to pick up this HUO one locally less than 10 miles from my house. I had my eye on the new LCD one - but couldn't pull the trigger due to the cost. I found this one for $2200, and felt I got a solid deal. It looks and plays brand new. It also had the split based I needed, and the coin door I wanted. A few times I almost pulled the trigger for almost the same cost on a few that popped up over the last few months that had been routed. Just about all the ones I saw on FaceBook Marketplace needed domes, or new players etc.

With all that said - I just saw today's announcement on Super Chexx - they're going to release the LCD upgrade for all existing Super Chexx! - didn't see pricing yet - but it says coming soon. My guess is that sales are down due to COVID - and this seems like a smart way to reach all the thousands of existing owners who are sure to upgrade - and they'll rake in millions.

    Anyway - lovin' it!

Lol it's true. When the delivery driver opened the door on his box truck I was like holy shiiiiit those are big boxes! He was like what is this anyway? I told him and he was like oh ok I remember those, how awesome. He said I've never delivered one of these before ever.

Thought about driving to Buffalo and picking it up in my RAM. It’s only a 3 hr drive from here in the Cleveland OH area. But then I’d get hit with the 9% sales tax. F dat! I’ll just lay in my driveway and wait.

I’ve heard that the most astronauts in American space programs have been from Ohio. They say it’s because it is so bad there, when people leave they want to get as far away from Ohio as possible!

I would have told him they’re cage parts for my 700lb gorilla in the basement..

Now I’m getting nervous about fitting the base in the house and down into the basement. I didn’t get the split base. My basement door is 32”. Thoughts?

Hmmm. I kitty cornered my base through a 36” opening and that was tight. Hopefully you can get it in. I had me and my wife both carry an end. Turn it on it’s side, stick one corner through the door opening. The person who is on the end that’s corners is through the door hugs the opening with that corner and you swing it to the opposite corner on your end. Kind of like getting a lazy boy chair in a door opening. One end goes in out it’s side then you swing it in. Hard to explain.

When we did the order their website said need a split base for doors under 32”, so I measured the door. We have 32. So I assumed we were good.

Take the door off the hinges. Maybe use painters tape on the edges and surfaces of the doorway. You'll have to rotate the largest part through the door, but it will fit. Be patient, find a patient helper.

    Hi Everyone,
So what is the best way to put sponsor stickers around the dome? Buy them? make them?

I have heard guys on here saying that it will go through a 32" door. I got the split base just to be safe. How wide is your stairway?

I think it’s 39” hallway down. I’ll have to remeasure when I get home from work.

    #2478 3 years ago

Solid base will go thru 32" door no problem.

    #2479 3 years ago

Yes it’s 39” wide stairway to my basement. Door is 32”.

Yes. It was actually a thousand dollars higher in price last year. They lowered it. Looks cool, but I am a old hockey fan.

I keep checking my email, junk mail, everything. Still nothing from ICE.... crickets! I thought about calling ICE (I called them once when the order was placed), but I don't want to be a pest. I ordered it on the 8/18, so we're only in week two right now. I was told it would be here sometime between the 8 - 11 of Sept.

How long did it take to get delivered from order date?
I've heard 2-3 weeks. If thats true, I'm in week 2 so I'm defiantly rounding third on the way home, I think!! kinda running blind right now.

    #2493 3 years ago

DAMN IT SuperMaxx!!!!! Now I'm curious and want to call them...

    #2494 3 years ago
