I am looking to purchase a original printed complete manual and fold-out schematics for Stern Star Gazer. If anyone has one available please let me know. I have been working from the incomplete PDF manual that is available from IPDB. I am currently trying to figure out and correct a major wiring hack around the transformer and rectifier board and having a full set of schematics would help greatly identify a few of the wires. Nearly half of the wires were cut off at the connectors and bypassed with numerous jumpers and splices...

I am also looking for a yellow/blue Stern "S" spinner in good condition. My game currently has one oddball replacement that I want to replace with a spinner that matches the other two.

I am hoping to get my Star Gazer totally fixed and working 100% so it can go to the Texas Pinball Festival. Anyone with a extra manual or spinner that is for sale would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I can't help you with the spinner, but if you tell me the nature of the problem with wiring, I may have an answer for you.

I re-made my own spinners. Stripped, sanded , spray painted, laser-printed and applied waterslide decals ... then I realized I applied the 'S' decal upside-down on two. Ugh.

Then I applied an Avery laminate-type adhesive to both sides to protect the fragile decal.

Also, the 'S' and stars are supposed to be a nice blue instead of murky gray but I printed on transparent waterslide decal paper without a white layer underneath so colour is lost. Good enough.

Also re-made the pop bumper caps myself as well.

G'bye girls.
