Quoted from swf127:

Which is odd because I think STLE is a better game than ACDC. I get why TRON LE is/was so popular given the differences between it and the pro, but the BIBLE was just a translite difference, no?

IMHO Tron LE is the coolest LE Stern has ever made. Probably will stay that way always really, because it's somewhat unique in how limited it was and there was no Premium.

Star Trek is the second coolest to me, because they really went all out adding fun bling to it. You get something special with it, the Premium doesn't have that stuff. Maybe that's the future of Stern LEs, going all out.

To me the AC/DC LEs just aren't particularly special. No new features, and the new art isn't really amazing or anything. From a pure LOOKS perspective the X-Men LEs are better looking, more interesting example of LEs. Plus most of the AC/DC LEs have the cloudy lower window.

Obviously the market doesn't agree with me, and AC/DC is a great game so no shock its LEs are worth more than X-Men's, but I wouldn't personally pay anything close to what they go for. Take a new Premium or Luci instead.

It's more than just the translite (which happens to be a real backglass on the LEs, by the way). The BIBLEs also have different cabinet art, side rails and hinges. I completely get why the BIBLEs command such a premium. It's an extremely limited and unique looking version of one of Stern's most popular games.

BUT DO THE SIDE RAIL CANNONS SHOOT LED PHASERS UP THE SIDE OF THE CABINET?

At the end of the day the LEs are just about collector fun. Except for the games without Premiums I guess, in which case it's a little different. I am of the opinion that whatever makes you happy to own is a good thing. I'm also of the opinion that BIBLE prices go ridiculous, but hey, whatever people want to pay is what they're worth.

Sooooo glad I ended up with Luci over any of them.

Not sure about pricing but in case you didn't see it this was posted relatively recently:

May be a busy pin-weekend Ted.

It's coming home Friday.
Saturday BSD is leaving as well as WoZ potentially.

Kind of bummed about parting with BSD, but so worth it I think in the end...BSD was the difference between getting the LE and the Premium. I can always get another BSD

Nice, glad you found something, enjoy!

After I played a few balls I wanted to throw the latest code onto it. Drove me nuts for a good hour. Flipped the DIP switch and the game wouldn't reboot. Just hung.
Tried running a backup of the code, that worked, so it wasn't my USB stick.
In the end, who can spot the problem here?

Yep. One bent pin. Pulled it out and straightened it and re-seated it. Very very glad that pin didn't break off!
