Just installed mine. The piece is really nice the powdercoating is top notch it looks great but…..
I had my coil turned with the lugs away from the stop but in order to install this cover I had to revert it to the stock configuration with the coil lug end against the stop.
Maybe if future runs are made a notch could be cut for the wires with the coil lugs forward for anal guys like me!
All in all a great piece and purchasing was straight forward and a breeze
lllvjr nice job!!!!!!!
I rotated the coil so that the lug side is opposite the stop side .The way flipper and all coils should be mounted in their holders.
Here is an example of coils with lugs opposite of the coil stop. This is the best way to mount coils in an assembly. if its not possible its only to due to lug and wire restrictions or certain coil holders.
In that configuration the slot for the coil wires would be near the middle of the cover side not the rear.
I already installed the coil with the lug side against the coil stop to be able to use your cover so taking pics wouldn't help now.
I thought about machining my own slot in the cover but it was to nice to alter and I didn't want two slots in it.
