Twisted Pins has made a reproduction. According to their website, it was released in 1Q15.

The twisted pins repro never ended up happening. Theres plenty of info on pinside about it if you search. I'd highly advise not giving them any of your money.

Are these toppers pretty much unobtanium?

No, just expensive.

What kind of price range?

Yes unobtanium.

A NOS one went for $1000.00 a few years ago. I found one on eBay Germany for $150 + shipping around the same time.

I would guess at this point one in not so great shape would be 5-600. Unfaded, no bubbles would probably be at least 800.

Bring $1000 cash over with some tools to remove and I'd sell mine

Be careful what you ask for, esp. if it's unfaded.

And to think I bought an NOS one from Steve Young about 8 years ago for a whole $40. Didn't even know they were around at that time. He told me it was the last one he had.

8 years ago, WH20 was a $1800 game. Man, Steve Young is the best, though!

Wow! I paid $1k for my Whitewater ... Unfaded topper included . That was back in 2000 though. If I'm not mistaken, the plastic domes for FT and WH2O were fetching more money than the toppers at one point back then .

I would consider buying a complete game as long as it had a nice topper and then resell the game later. Let me know what you have working or not.
