I'm looking to get into the hobby and want a good family game that will be fun for the kids (ages 5-11) but keep my interest. Doesn't need to be perfect, but should be in good shape.

I'm located in Southeastern WI and am willing to drive to Green Bay, Madison or Chicago to pick up the machine. I'm not interested in shipping the machine.

WCS is very fun for the kids. I have seen it for myself in my own home. Kids tend to play better on machines with 2 flippers, IMHO. Good luck in the hunt.

Bump for my cousin! Let's see if anyone has some family-friendly machines for sale!

I'd suggest also looking for Popeye and Super Mario Bros. Both kid friendly and SMB is so easy even kids can have long ball times on it and enjoy it.

Midwest Gaming Classic is coming up in April (april 11-12) http://www.midwestgamingclassic.com/

i would go for the weekend (you are right there anyways), take the kids. see what they like and then decide (or possibly pick up a machine at the event.

otherwise, if you are in the Reedsburg/Wi Dells area let me know and you can come over and try out some of the machines i have.

come visit me at the King Pin Games booth to play Wizard of Oz, The Hobbit and a couple of others (the higher end of prices, but very fun machines)

FT would be too frustrating for the kids. WCS94 is a great family friendly pin.

Thanks for the suggestions and letting me know what's available. Over the weekend I purchased a No Good Gofers and it hasn't sat idle yet. The kids love it. This should keep us busy for awhile, but I plan on attending the Midwest Gaming Classic to try some of the other machines I have my eye on.
