Have had both. The OG one was great but required much more maintenance (as expected from a 20 year old game) than my MMR has.

MMR has been out for a few years now and I haven’t heard a lot of complaints about the board set... besides the poeple who are sure they’re just ticking time bombs.

The MMR plays faster and smoother, the castle drawbridge is quieter, the hi res color display option is very cool (although ColorDMD ain’t bad) and they have a large screen option on the way soon (?) plus the added shaker motor option.

Unless you just can’t deal with the missing Williams logos, I feel that MMR is basically as good as the original and better in a lot of ways, and generally cheaper then a used route MM.
